Trump: "We Got Here Because We Switched From A Policy Of Americanism To A Policy Of Globalism"

Donald Trump attacked Hillary Clinton as an anti-American globalist in a major speech in New York Wednesday.

"Our country lost its way when we stopped putting the American people really first," he said. "We got here because we switched from a policy of Americanism – focusing on what’s good for America’s middle class – to a policy of globalism, focusing on how to make money for large corporations who can move their wealth and workers to foreign countries all to the detriment of the American worker and the American economy."

"This is not a rising tide that lifts all boats," he said. "This is a wave of globalization that wipes out our middle class and our jobs."

"They totally own her," he said about foreign nations' influence over the Democratic frontrunner. "And that will never change."

(1) By definition no fallen human will be perfect
(2) By bible promise God can make good use of any fallen human He chooses
(3) We need to watch our own propensity to idolize artifacts

If God has lined up Donald to do a work that we never deserved but that God desired, praise should go to God. It was going to take stepping out of the tradition of common politics to do something here. A problem can’t be fixed with more of the same philosophy that created it.

>>Can he stop it, or will he only be able to slow it down?

Remember back in WW2 when Patton single-handedly defeated the Germans?

Me neither. He was a great leader with a vision and an army.

We are Trump’s army. This will be OUR fight after he is elected. We are electing him to lead us and not be the bastion of anti-American globalism that the WH has been for 30 years.

Finally the concept of GLOBALISM is going mainstream, Rush even said the word yesterday. So many people don’t understand that GLOBALISM is the ultimate goal of the elites, and it’s objective is to eliminate OUR Constitutional rights and enslave the world.

Trump really does need the power of God to clean this up. Even God said that sometimes you have to burn the house down as there is no cleaning it.

Trump wouldn't even be in the news if it weren't for the power of God, let alone the Republican nominee. We're watching a miracle take place. And, there's more than one way to burn down a house. Right now, the American People are being given a final choice on how they want it done. Trump will do it peacefully. Hillary will do it as violently as she can possibly make it. But either way, America is about to change - permanently.

Amen. Right on the money.
Trump was the only one among the wasted 17 who saw it America’s way. No wonder they want Trump gone because, if not Trump, there is no one.

FDR’s maxim about fearing nothing but “fear itself” could be regarded in the light of an oblique reference to the fundamental cowardice that characterizes hell.

It was an incomplete picture of course. We should all fear God, that even though amazingly forgiving and merciful He won’t put up with just anything forever.

You know, you are absolutely right.

We should have let the GOPe shove Jethro Bush down our throats.

Jethro would know how to handle all your worries.

We had better consider God the leading entity, and even what Donald wants should be filtered through God’s will.

You missed the point. We need the help of God even in the best mortal scenario possible.

Trump doesn’t want to benefit from the game; he wants to change the game. He sees that its current rules are going to lead to no good.

“Globalism” is not conservatism. It is driven by “free trade” madness ‘

Slick started it and W furthered it.

Trump: "We Got Here Because We Switched From A Policy Of Americanism To A Policy Of Globalism"

That sentence alone says he gets it.

Good commentary, WENDLE. In my head, I've to sort all this stuff out. Let me sort out what I currently think about these economics issues.

I'm reminded of the great book by Henry Hazlitt, Economics in One Lesson.

And in that book he talks about the why unions don't raise real wages, and the benefits of free trade.

However, the "One Lesson" itself is the most important piece and it goes something like:

Good economic policy is one that favors all the people, not the special interests. And it is policy that is good in the long run, not the short.

So here's my thinking:

Now the raise of national debt and the lack of jobs seem unrelated at first glance.

However, when you have a lack of jobs, you must go into debt to pay for the welfare state. In the short run, living off debt relieves some of the pain, but in the long run it's a hidden cost for the people (younger generations) who have to eventually pay down on that debt.

And if you allow companies to ship jobs overseas and sell products back into the US at no cost, you are gutting your manufacturing capability at home and destroying the American dream. At first glance, it seems like a bargain because everybody gets lower cost goods. However, you've taken away jobs from some people who will never get them back because the investment in a career of a certain type has been destroyed.

Another element is restrictive regulations which especially hurt the entrepreneurs/small business who are needed much than big businesses to create local jobs.

And the formula is further disturbed by the automation of so many jobs and the internet economy actually does away with many conventional jobs. And a lot of jobs can be easily moved overseas, including high skill jobs such as writing software.

So the world's economy is in turmoil for a lot of reasons. It's very confusing, but the leader of a nation -- much like the CEO of a business or the breadwinners in a family -- has to make hard choices.

With Hillary, you will no doubt get more globalization, more political stalemate (the UniParty) and she will favor allow the current gutting of the country to continue. She will also let the illegals and refugees come in at will, further eroding the low income population of the US.

But with Trump, it's about taking direct action to start getting the ball moving in the right direction.

Look, I'm trying to sort all this stuff out in my brain. Would appreciate if anyone can correct my view in areas where it's off base.

I always found it funny that in movies if they want to create something fake they do it using CGI. (Computer generated imagery)

In politics when you want to create something fake you also use CGI. (Clinton global initiative)
