Today, the Donald J. Trump campaign announced a new executive board convened to provide advisory support to Mr. Trump on those issues important to Evangelicals and other people of faith in America.
The executive board will also lead a much larger Faith and Cultural Advisory Committee to be announced later this month.
The leaders on the executive board were not asked to endorse Mr. Trump as a prerequisite for participating on the board.
Rather, the formation of the board represents Donald J. Trump’s endorsement of those diverse issues important to Evangelicals and other Christians, and his desire to have access to the wise counsel of such leaders as needed. Mr. Trump has received widespread support from Evangelical leaders, communities and voters, winning the majority of the Evangelical vote throughout the primaries.
Mr. Trump stated, “I have such tremendous respect and admiration for this group and I look forward to continuing to talk about the issues important to Evangelicals, and all Americans, and the common sense solutions I will implement when I am President.”
The executive board members will convene on a regular basis. Certain members of the advisory board are solely responsible for managing Mr. Trump’s private meeting with hundreds of Christian leaders scheduled today in New York City.

You know I don’t think there are ALOT of conservatives who really care about people being gay as long as our business laws and our beliefs are not being forced to think their way!!! I personally could care less how they live their lives but this RABID cramming of their way of life down our throats is UNACCEPTABLE!!! This is also NO MORE than PC BS!!!! I think MOST evangelicals feel the same they just want Christianity not WIPED out of our nation live anyway you want just leave us the HELL alone!!!
It represents Christian leaders across the fruited plain...a veritable Who's Who of outstanding shepherds determined to save our country from the atheist/marxist wolves encircling our core of traditions, principles and faith that made America GREAT!
Every single evangelical leader that commented on TV about the meeting with Mr. Trump today had nothing but the highest praise for him and his answers to their questions....and these vigilant shepherds are certainly NOT the type to have the wool pulled over their eyes.

Was watching an encore of Lou Dobbs’ interview with Mr. Trump on FBN.
BTW, ABC did an interview with Trump. Part of it aired on tonight’s World News. Part two will be on Nightline after Jimmy Kimmel around 12:30 AM ET and more will air tomorrow on GMA.
There is another Trump interview on CBS This Morning Wednesday, a brief portion of which aired tonight on CBS Evening News.
All this and Trump’s anti-Hillary speech tomorrow at 10:30 AM. WOW!!!!

Absolutely! Strong Tea Party conservative, with excellent stand on Muslim immigration. She is also a woman (yea, I know that's pretty obvious ...lol).

I’m not wanting to be the ‘turd in the punch bowl’...but there are three names on there that kinda make me cringe:
Kenneth Copeland, Gloria Copeland, and Paula White.
Those are three people who are near the top of the list when it comes to “Word of Faith” (aka “Prosperity Gospel”) teaching.
I mean, Copeland has said he “can’t get close to God” if he flies coach...so he has a multi-million dollar aircraft that flies him around. I go to a fairly large and modern church...and his HOUSE is twice the size of my church! Recently, Paula White was the subject of much ridicule and scorn right here on the pages of FR for offering a ‘spiritual blessing’...if you send her a “seed offering” of $1144.
I don’t have a problem with anyone else on the list. However, those three names are like fingernails on a blackboard to me.

His church hosted an event during the primaries for the presidential candidates. Their favorite was Cruz, who spoke at the event. Trump didn't attend.
