Trump affirms backing gun ban for those on terror watch list
Washington Examiner ^ | June 18, 2016 | John Siciliano

Donald Trump reaffirmed his stance on restricting individuals on the terror watch list from being able to purchase firearms, despite Republican objections.

"We have to make sure that people that are terrorists or have even an inclination toward terrorism cannot buy weapons, guns," Trump told ABC's White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl in an interview that will air Sunday on "This Week."

Well, you could always side with hillary, who would ban EVERYONE from owning any sort of firearm. Can you say “cannon fodder?”

The terrorist watch list is separate from the no fly list. That being said, the current list is defined by the current occupant of the white house.

The current occupant defines terrorists as bitter Christians clinging to their bibles and guns, while giving jihadi fucks like the one of many over the last few years that have violated gun free zones with extreme prejudice and killed Americans with virtually no repercussions.

All I can say is that the majority of politicians in the US need to be at least sent to the unemployment line, and at worst, need to be sent to Leavenworth for treason, sedition, and subversion.

Everybody knows what sort of person you are.

Yeah - a person who was on FR a year and half before you showed up just before the MFJ.

n00b. :)

Were you there, Fred? I could probably find my hotel receipt. I KNOW I got my FR ballcap...

Can you explain why presumtive nominee is giving 2-hand Satanic sign with a Satanic Priest?

Can you explain why allegedly pious Christians like the Cruz family made millions from the likes of sleazy Goldman Sachs and self admittedly gave basically nothing to charity?

This is about how stupid and incompetent the “watch list” has become. If the “watch list” was administered competently, by good minds, making sure those on the list didn’t have access to weapons would be a no-brainer.

You are mistaken. This isn't about who aintains the "watch list", or how.

It's about the Fifth Amendment -- a person cannot be deprived of their constitutional rights without due process.

The "no fly" list is technically secret. But, for there to be due process, you must be advised that you are on the list. And there must be a proceeding to place you on the list -- during which you have the right to face your accuser.

Finally, there must be a prescribed procedure by which you can get your name removed from the list if you are innocent. There is none.

The FBI doesn't want the list conflated with gun rights, either. The innability to buy a weapon would tip off a terrorist that they are under suspicion.

Accordingly, the problem isnn't who maintais the list or how sloppily it's done. It is using the no fly list as a source list to deny constitutional rights in the first place.

No, I don’t consider myself to be a Christian. I am a person who believes in Jesus Christ strongly. I believe He saved my life when I prayed to Him and asked Him to. But I am also a person who is suspicious of religion and what its purposes are.

However, I also believe that Christians, generally speaking, are better people than myself.

When I look at my life and its contents and compare it to that of Christians that I know, I’m obviously the one that keeps coming up short somehow or battling with demons or just generally not understanding things properly.

As far as those things I posted in this thread, I have asked Jesus to forgive me for how stupid I’ve been. I don’t know if He will. Maybe I’m going to go to Hell, I don’t know.

Whatever the case, I’m trying to do what is good now to make up for what I’ve done before.

But one thing I cannot deny is that there was a person who was supposed to be here, and that person is not here because of me. That is my dishonor to carry.

Cruz isn’t the presumptive nominee. A Satanist-sympathizer is.

‘Course, I didn’t expect that to bother you, anyway.

Then there should be no “no fly” list at all.

Good luck. Enjoy your trip.

I’m hoping he’ll be prompted to re-evaluate his position if sufficent numbers of his supporters spread sound, well-reasoned arguments. He does listen in as much as can be expected, especially when representatives of public opinion have high profile soapboxes (such as well-respected (by Trump’s standards) journalists.) Also through grassroots appeals to his campaign in sufficient numbers, it is hard to ignore a flood of hand-written letters.

Personally, I give Trump more leeway to make mistakes than career politicians, he isn’t one. But because of this, because I can forgive his stupid-mouth, it is crucial that I make noise when something he does disturbs my liberty-conscience mind, as this does. I really hope more of his supporters see things as I do (forgiving but loud.) If it ever comes to the point he acknowledges a unison voice of reasoned dissent, yet ignores it, then we must re-evaluate our support. I have faith in Trump, eyes wide-open, but the day I blind myself is the day I’ve sold myself down the river. Know when to walk away from a bad deal.

Why are you presuming Trump would do this without due process? There is ZERO evidence of that.

What we have here mostly is a herd of butt hurt loser Cruzers spinning this in the worst possible light for Trump. To the benefit of Hillary Rotten Criminal. Proving once again there was nothing principled or conservative about the Cruz cult.
