18 people shot, 6 fatally, in weekend violence (Chicago)

At least 18 people have been shot so far this weekend and six of those victims are dead.
One of the shootings happened in the University Village neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Two security guards were called to a large outdoor party at a housing complex in the 1300 block of West Hastings. Someone started shooting and a 24-year-old man was shot in the back and killed. The two security guards were wounded.

28 hours to go in the weekend, place your over/under bets. Beyond me why the National Guard hasn't been sent in long ago other than it would be even more embarrassing than the killings for Rahm and all the Rat Mayors before him.

Oh, and for what it’s worth, I’m a lifelong member of the League of the South. Skin color doesn’t matter, heritage does. Those black people the Yankee politicians keep sacrificing at will are 2nd generation Southrons. It hurts me to watch it.
