Unless they (RNC) can claim not enough protection, I am sure not much they can do to get out of the Convention in Cleveland.
However, if the delegates etal were to show up say in Phoenix would RNC (really do NOT care about them) be left holding the bag for any fees in Cleveland?
By the time the RNC groups get around to registering for permits the city will claim there are none left.
The Libs may be crooked, rotten, dastardly etc BUT they do stick together....which, along with the rigged voting, makes it almost impossible to beat them—Especially when all ‘our’ leaders do is sit around and wring their hands and take crying lessons from Boner..
I would love to see them screw Trump out of the nomination and he and Burnie hold a joint press conference declaring the both of them will take their supporters and run elsewhere.
Guess they could have a massive write in campaign but that is shaky at the least.
Also if they screw ‘the Donald’ and he does what I suggest, watch the RNC ‘sue’ him for breaking the oath WHEN the rest of the RINOS/GOPe types have already thrown Trump under the bus...

As to burnie, the way to run against him is to claim he is too stupid to get rich when he has been in politics all his life and is broker than he was when he started (I am sure he has a stash but nothing like the rest of the con men and grifters)
Case a few years back where DC found it had to be missing a lot of money from their parking meters.
They singled out a suspect, trailed him and finally busted him at home.
Laying around the ‘house’ were thousands of dollars in quarters.
As they were arresting him he proclaimed racism saying he did the same as the ‘white folks’ did when he got home at night and emptied his pockets of change and put it in a jar.
Would imagine he beat the rap....but the lawyer weeweed off when he got paid off in quarters....

Will the Pro-TRUMP bikers, truck drivers, farmers, and the average Joes be prevented from exercising their 1st Amendment Rights outside the convention if they do not have a permit?
