New policy OK'd for transgender students in Jersey City
The Jersey Journal ^ | June 17, 2016

Posted on 06/17/2016 5:17:22 PM PDT by SMGFan

The school board last night adopted a new policy that proponents hope will make the public schools more accommodating to transgender students. >>>>>>>The new policy requires the district to issue student ID cards in the name that reflects the student's gender identity; requires school staff to address students by the names and pronouns corresponding to their gender identity, even if the students have not obtained court-approved name changes; and allows students to dress in accordance with their gender identity.

The policy also bans the district from forcing students to use restrooms or locker rooms that conflict with their gender identity.

About two dozen school districts in New Jersey, including in Pequannock, Jackson and Ocean Township, have adopted similar policies.

Um... okay.

If they have two X and no Y chromosomes in each of their cells, their gender identity is female.

If they have an X and a Y chromosome, their gender identity is male.

Unless they have a very rare genetic condition which prevents their body from properly forming as a male despite a Y chromosome. However, in these rare cases, the person is typically thought to be female until some aberration of development causes the doctor to order up some testing which reveals the truth. In those cases, it is appropriate to call the person a female despite the presence of a Y chromosome.

Gender identity really is easy to determine, regardless of a person’s delusions about it. Biology is destiny.

Well, this is “who we are” according to Obama.

He frequently says that this is “who we are” or on the other hand, that what conservatives prefer is “not who we are” as Americans.

As if he has any clue about Americans.

Government schools have, though they may not realize it in their PC zeal, abandoned any notion they are interested in education. They are nothing more than ideological day camps with a portion dedicated to incarceration of underage felons.

Is this policy not child abuse or contributing to the delinquency of a minor? Gender confusion is a treatable mental disorder. Going along with the sham does not help the student, and may be criminal.

They feeeeeeeeeeeel like they’ve cleverly side-stepped the scenario in which a male temporarily announces a female gender affinity simply in order to go in the girls room and then reverting after he gets his jollies.

Unfortunately their buying into any of this crap has ensnared them by their own rules. “Pan-genderism” is one of the 31 flavors that is currently being foisted upon us. Pan-genderism is a scam whereupon one can be gender-fluid - in other words change their gender as the mood strikes them.

Insane? You betcha!

I guess the little children may be allowed to be even gender fluid.

It is not considered child abuse or delinquency if done in support of a liberal cause celebre. Recently, we have been hearing lots about the “T” or “trans” among the “LGBT” peoples. Schools are run by liberals. They feel a need to bend over backwards, and institute policies such as these, to prove that they are liberal.

While we think it’s common sense to deal with gender confusion among children and adolescents, the liberals who run things nowadays, from our president on down, are decreeing policies which ENABLE the condition among young people.

The problem with catering to all this is high school students LOVE to be celebrities. They compete on who can be the most outrageous. What could be better than identifying as a tranny and making insane demands for accommodation? And of course some parents just love the attention that comes from having such a trendy child.

I often wonder, between who's in what bathroom, who is bullying who, poorly raised brats acting out in class, teacher workshop days, snow days (for a flurry) and the mounds of social engineering p.c. nonsense mandated by a liberal government, if there is any time LEFT for education of a worthwhile sort.

I have a family member with three boys under 5 years old. She is so freaked out about the gender identity policy today, that she just signed her eldest up for preschool at a private Christian school. I’d rather she keep him home for a couple more years, but it’s not my decision. I am however impressed that this young woman who is under 22 years old is that concerned for her children.

She was offered reduced tuition as a result of her income, but it’s still a hefty financial burden for that family to bear. And yes, she has one daddy for her boys and is legally married.

I’m a bit impressed with her. I never expected this out of that particular girl.
