GOP AGs warn Dems that if climate skeptics can be prosecuted for ‘fraud,’ so can alarmists

If Democratic attorneys general can pursue climate change skeptics for fraud, then also at risk of prosecution are climate alarmists whose predictions of global doom have failed to materialize.

The "cuts both ways" argument was among those raised by 13 Republican attorneys general in a letter urging their Democratic counterparts to stop using their law enforcement power against fossil fuel companies and others that challenge the climate change catastrophe narrative.

Consider carefully the legal precedent and threat to free speech, said the state prosecutors in their letter this week, headed by Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange.

"If it is possible to minimize the risks of climate change, then the same goes for exaggeration," said the letter. "If minimization is fraud, exaggeration is fraud."

DOH! I've been wondering if and when anyone would turn the tables of these scamsters. There's money to be made so stand aside deniers. Maybe it's a gopE war on warmunists.

Yep. The Left forgets that the laws it makes to use against us can be used against them in turn.

Unfortunately, the Right often forgets this lesson as well, which is why the Left will use its own laws against it.

The solution? Make fewer laws all around.

Yeah, but 98% of the 100 scientist surveyed out of the 11,000 available for the survey agree that the scam should work out just fine. They can prove it to. If you just fund some more studies.

The Democratic Left has embraced the forced pursuit of ignorance—or what else can you call suppressing scientific inquiry as to the validity of prevailing theories—into a fine art. We need to pick up the gauntlet and counter-attack. This, as in so many other areas, can be a learning moment to recapture American youth, brainwashed in public—and even some private schools—while their parents sought the widely available electronic distractions from parental duty.

Well, at least in portlandia(oregon) the youts won’t have to worry since the superintendent has decreed the no opposition will be permitted in the public schools there. In fact, she insists that from Pre-K through 12th grade the kiddies should be taught and trained to be activist to save mother erf. I heard some of her diatribe on either Lars Larson or Joe Pags show. Mrs. rktman and I were stunned to hear what this assclown “educator” said. Truly scary. But, Portland.....

Are the Courts there, also corrupt? I would think that such an arbitrary misuse of education could be enjoined.
