Rochester, N.Y. — A man accused of planning a New Year's Eve attack on a Rochester bar disrupted a court appearance today and had to be forcibly removed from the courtroom.
Emanuel Lutchman refused to follow directions from court security....
Lutchman allegedly planned to attack a Rochester bar on New Year's Eve with knives and a machete provided by an informant for the FBI....
Authorities said in court papers that Lutchman, 25 at the time of his arrest, is a convert to Islam who said he received direction from an overseas Islamic State member...
