If someone is a terrorist or a no fly muzzie terrorist then by all means deny them a gun. That’s all that’s trumps proposing. This is common sense and will gain trump some votes. He knows the left is apoplectic about gun control right now so he’ll snag a couple.

Hillary and Obama have called for this already

They said they were going to discuss it with the NRA? I thought I heard them say they were were saying it was the NRA's fault. Discussing possible options is leadership.

but it makes no sense that the government has decreed that you can’t get on an airplane, but at the same time has no problem with you buying weapons that common felons cannot.

So you support the idea that as long as some bureaucrat who is part of "the government" puts your name on a list barring you from getting on an airplane that your constitutional rights can be curtailed with no due process at all?

Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution:

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

"being a terrorist or a no fly muzzie terrorist" has nothing to do with the "no-fly" list or the even broader "fbi watch" list. Trump is going to talk to the NRA about "NOT ALLOWING" people on either list to buy guns.

Full of errors with limited redress/appeal. No public access to the actual “No Fly” list.

Correction, Mrs. Liddy has very extensive gun collection that she lets him use.

This is a big misstep by Trump, and I hope the NRA will explain it to him.

This is a huge mistake. I was once on the no fly list, no reason ever given. It took me a year to get off the list. I think it goes by name only. I have a very common last name.

This always happened when I tried to check in at the curb. Skycap would take my license inside, someone must have checked and then I was cleared to fly. This happened many times for about a year.

It makes sense to me.

People on a "no fly" list are already a threat.

Selling them a gun is upping the odds AGAINST the American people.

Keep in mind... once Trump is elected I doubt you'll find anything other than mostly ISLAMIC names on that list.

“clearly defined”

You mean like if your name is Robert Johnson you get hassled at the airport because you are on the no-fly list? Or you posted something on Tweeter (or perhaps Free Republic) once? Or some Fed checked the wrong box on a form?

If they’re on some list so they can’t get a gun, wtf are they doing in this country? When they start deporting these people they think shouldn’t have guns, then I’ll get on board.

Too many people are on the list that have zero connections to terrorism. There is no due process.

However, I would support a bill that would ban Democrats and Muslims from having weapons.... and being placed in padded rooms.

That would eliminate almost all shootings - mass or other.
