‘Vicious and brutal’: A second Canadian man is beheaded by Islamist militants in the Philippines

A small group of Islamist militants in the Philippines, known as Abu Sayyaf, has beheaded a second Canadian hostage in two months, authorities said Tuesday.

“We strongly condemn the brutal and senseless murder of Mr. Robert Hall, a Canadian national, after being held captive by the Abu Sayyaf group in Sulu for the past nine months,” Herminio Coloma, a representative for the Philippines President Benigno Aquino, said in a statement, according to AFP. A head believed to belong to Hall, 58, was found Monday on an island near an Abu Sayyaf outpost.

Pinol said it was the first the mayor admitted that his maternal grandmother had Moro lineage.

Pinol pointed out that his ties with the Muslims were made even stronger because his eldest son, Paulo, who is now Davao vice mayor, converted to Islam when he married a Muslim Tausug girl.

Duterte also said that he has Muslim blood from his mother’s side.

Jaafar reacted by saying that the mayor acts and talks like a Moro or better yet like a MILF warrior. The MILF official said that Duterte is welcome to shift his religion to Islam considering that Muslims are allowed to have a much as four wives, obviously referring to Duterte’s public admission that he has two wives and few more girlfriends.

*BBL : Gives FULL AUTONOMY to Muslims in the Philippines i.e. PERMISSION FOR SHARIAH, it was opposed because it would place a HUGE SWATH of the Philippines, even certain provinces which are NOT MUSLIM MAJORITY OR EVEN MUSLIM MINORITY (like Palawan, the 3rd largest Philippine island after Luzon and Mindanao), under Muslim Control & Domination, merely for being allegedly “Historically Muslim” (e.g. “Israel and Palestine”).
