WSB radio announced that Mitch McConnell is expected to change his position on gun control this afternoon after his meeting with the FBI Director. This is all they stated and it was via McConnell's office.

He is expected to remove his blocking of legislation.

Time to make our objections known to this RINO....

Nothing on their website yet per this post but other websites at link are reporting....

McConnell was a sell-out from way back but almost nobody except Ted Cruz had the guts to call him on it.

Don’t bother calling McConnell’s office. It will be a waste of time as he doesn’t give a crap what the people think.

CALL Trump offices around the country and tell him to stand firm, or he will not get your vote in November.

That might wake up his handlers/advisors and others in the loop.

This event has influenced public opinion, including that of Republicans.

It looks like Bill O’Reilly is having second thoughts.

From what I have heard so far I think your idea would be too impersonal. I think he had to look his victims in the eye and enjoy how they were afraid of him now. There is also the question of whether he was struggling with his own sexuality since he had been to that club before. He killed so many who were Hispanic and somewhat “brown” like himself. Was it self hatred operating?

McConnell should have read Comey the riot act.

The FBI, once again, screws up, and they want to take away the rights of millions of people as their lame response? BS.

With all due respect, what was the FBI supposed to do? The guy was born here - he is a U.S. citizen. If there was no evidence he committed a crime that could be proven in a court of law, they have no options. There are so many folks like this who seem sympathetic to ISIS there are not enough agents and resources to watch them all 24/7.

We are all ticked off, but we can’t suspend the constitution and the protections we are afforded. As others have pointed out - it does not seem like a good idea for a person on the terror watch list to buy firearms, but there is no due process involved in being on that list so whomever is in power can deem anybody - Tea Party or membership on FR - to be a terrorist.

They don’t even have to attend a radical mosque any more to go Jihadist - there is plenty of hate on the internet for a willing mind and a depraved soul.

No easy answers on this one FRiend.....

He was so “struggling” for sure. He was a believing Moslem. He knew he was destined for hell as a homosexual unless he went out in official martyrdom, died killing infidels. Martyrdom transports him to Paradise.

I guess ol’ Bob Dole does look better with time as the Senate Majority Leader.

Bob Dole's role as a facilitator of Islamists in the Balkans left me with very little respect for the man, but Mitch McConnell would still have to stand on Lisa Murkowski's shoulders to kiss Bob Dole's a**.

I didn’t leave out anything on purpose. None of us can sit here and touch EVERYTHING that might need covering. I did my time dodging bullets for this republic. One time I was not quick enough in the dodging department and paid the price. As for my Creator, I talk to him several times a day and on Wednesday evenings and on Sunday morning and night, I go to our church and hear one of the finest preachers I have ever heard talk about my Lord. Our pastor leaves no rock un turned. He talks the Gospel of Grace. He preaches Jesus Christ crucified and risen!!! And THAT is what it is ALL about.

Sen. Mitch McConnell Says He Wants To ‘Deny Terrorists Guns’ After Blocking Bill That Would Have made him violate the God given natural rights of his fellow citizens, as acknowledged in the Bill or Rights, making him a betrayer of his oath to support and defend the Constitution, thus making him a traitor to his countrymen.

Still, I can’t help but wonder if this guy had been a Christian TEA Party member they would have found a way to lock him up in a federal holding facility.

It looks like between the two of us we have unraveled the reason for his mad act. Self hatred, anger at those who look like him and homosexual feelings/acts? that could only be redeemed by martyrdom and killing copies of himself.

“Wondering what Obama has in ole Mitch? If immigration, homeland security and FBI were able to do their job, the Islamic terror attack woul not have happened in Orlando. The responsibility for it lies squarely on Obama.”

When the NSA can freely monitor everyone, Obama has something on everyone including Mitch McConnell.

In wartime (and this IS war) due process for the suspected enemy — Muslims — must not be the neurotic focus, although it must be intact for those clearly having no association with Islam.

Notice that we had no series of Kamikaze attacks here on our soil after Pearl Harbor. That was because we justifiably rounded up the Issei and Nisei, and denied them due process, because war energency warranted it.

Notice also that since 9/11, we’ve had Sgt. Akbar, Little Rock, Chattanooga, Times Square, Jose Padilla, Richard Reid, Times Square, Ft. Dix Six, Ft. Hood, Boston Marathon, Garland, San Bernardino, Orlando, and countless other jihad incidents across the land.

This IS war emergency. No due process for the enemy nor the enemy’s extended familial/cultural support network.

I suspect fewer psychological overtones. Self redemption yes. Self- hatred? not like a westerner would experience it. A non Moslem with these contradictions feels boxed in, no way out and kills himself in despair or himself and others. The Moslem always has an outlet. He does not feel he is anihilating himself. He is going straight to Paradise to relax in the shade of trees where rivers flow. He is doing something positive for Allah and for himself. He may also think that Allah made him the way he is in order to kill a lot of homosexuals. Moslem belief in Fate is beyond most non Moslems’ comprehension. Allah immediately wills everything, every motion of every grain of sand. Cause and effect are not really concepts outside of what Allah wills at each moment. Mateen buys guns and does his deeds because Allah wills that he do these things. He may or may not hate what he is, himself, and probably doesn’t.

Alfred, Lord Tennyson had his “Idylls of the King”; Kentuckians have their “Idol Mitch”.

I think it’s better than a million-to-one; more like five thousand-to-one. Practically, perhaps, no difference

so his first wife said he was gay, he was a muslim, he declared his devotion to ISIS with 911, he’s an immigrant, a registered democrat for years, and he has a gun (for his security job). Which one would you expect the lamestream media and the democrats to trumpet as the sole cause that fits with their agenda and voter base? you guessed it.
