Rubio Contemplates Senate Run After Orlando Shooting
Roll Call ^ | 6-13-16 | Niels Lesniewski

Sen. Marco Rubio said Monday that seeking another term as a senator from Florida has not been part of his family's plan, but the mass shooting Sunday in Orlando has given him pause about his future.

"My family and I will be praying about all this, and we'll see what I need to do next with my life with regards to how I can best serve," the former presidential candidate told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt.

50 people including the gunman were killed in the shooting at a gay nightclub, Pulse, in Orlando early Sunday morning. Hewitt asked if Rubio would reconsider his decision to not seek another term, trying to push him toward running in the process, citing Rubio's foreign policy knowledge.

"I haven't even given a thought in that perspective, other than to say that I've been deeply impacted. And I think when it visits your home state, when it impacts a community you know well, it really gives you pause to think a little bit about, you know, your service to your country and where you are most useful to your country," Rubio said.

LOL! I know right. And avowed anti-Trumpster. Anyway, would marco do anything to stifle schmuckee and his new push for more infringements?

No sale, Rube.

You showed yourself for what you are with your Gang of 8 crap.

I’ll vote for the DIM before I’ll vote for you again as I prefer to stabbed in the front and not from behind.

Guess he could not find a job anywhere else.

I read that he wanted a job where he could pull down some serious coin as ground work for a 2020 presidential bid, but he had decided that working (whoring) for Wall Street will not fly in today's political climate. I suppose that narrowed the field too much.

The thought of having to actually earn a living in the private sector again is terrifying to Rubio.

He probably realized he couldn’t rake in the kind of money he wants working as a lawyer-he’d actually have to live on fees instead of getting bribes under the table...

Rubio’s upset because the gunman punctured the club's foam pool with a round from his evil assault weapon.

This happening on his watch should DISQUALIFY him rather than qualify him for reelection. What an idiot.

Rubio would have to actually work if he took a job in the private sector. Also, he’s got skin in the game (pardon the pun) now that his kindred gay constituents are the victims of a Muzzie terrorist attack. Plus any excuse will do when one is having serious second thoughts about a career move, now that he’s cut off any possibilities as part of a Trump Admin. At least in the Senate, he could consistently vote against any Prez Trump initiatives, and get his jollies that way.
