Jordanian Professor Ahmad Nofal: Jews Were in Charge of the Holocaust

In his weekly lesson, which is broadcast on the Jordanian Yarmouk TV channel, Professor Ahmad Nofal of the University of Jordan said that the Holocaust happened because of the "treachery" of the Jews and that "most of Hitler's ministers who perpetrated the Holocaust were Jews." Citing Holocaust denier Roger Garaudy, he said that the number of Jews killed had been 600,000, and not six million. "They added a zero," he said. Nofal further claimed: "We, the Palestinian people, are the victims of your Nazism... Your Holocaust lasted six months, but ours has been going on for 68 years."

On the "Quora" forum - supposedly for smart people - there is a never-ending supply of people who want to know (1) where is proof that our Apollo program landed Americans on the moon, and (2) why people still believe that any human beings have ever visited the moon.

I think he's deliberately trying to confusingly extrapolate the Jews that did help kill other Jews in the camps being responsible for the entire pogrom.

Imagine that -- the Holocaust was engineered by Jews, for no reason at all.

But it was exaggerated.

If ya scratch a Holocaust denier who merely [sic] claims it was exaggerated, you will probably find someone who denies it happened at all, and whom embraces Hitler, paradoxically because he realized the truth [sic] about the Jews.

Being a topic of heated dialogue, it’s hard to look at issues like this calmly.

The bible is pretty flat out about it: all humanity is comprised of sinners and has thus invited retribution on itself. Does God actually permit such retribution in all cases? No. Does every woe suffered by a person result from evil that the person has personally and specifically espoused? No. There is a larger story being played out, a story of sin and salvation and villains and heroes and a cruel devil and a merciful Savior.

We’d do best to look for truth all around, both the good and the bad and the ugly and the beautiful.
