A Texas high school valedictorian has revealed she is an illegal immigrant in her graduation speech. Larissa Martinez told classmates at McKinney Boyd High School that she was one of the 11million undocumented citizens living in the United States after she fled her abusive and alcoholic father in Mexico. The 18-year-old, who has been offered a full scholarship to Yale, said she decided against giving her classmates the 'traditional Hallmark version' of the speech and instead opted for the truth. The teenager told the crowd of thousands: 'Immigrants, undocumented or otherwise, are people too'. 'We are here without documentation because the US immigration system is broken and forces many families to live in fear.' She also used the speech to slam Donald Trump's plans to build a wall based on 'hate and prejudice'.

I am sure that other colleges will now rush to offer her a full scholarship. I bet she is hearing from other Ivy League schools today with offers. She definitely knows how to work the system. The recruiters at TU are probably pissing all over themselves trying to get her.

Meanwhile, the sons and daughters of hard working American citizens will find their way to a part-time job, and/or a seat in a community college, or regional college classroom. And that little thieving, non-citizen will go join the oligarchy that rules over them and all of us.

Texas was the same state where people were posing as illegal aliens to avoid criminal charges.

It’s not only border states effected.
Once in, they spread like a malignant communicable disease throughout this nation and metastasize while NONE of our leaders have the will or desire to stop it.

[Exactly what else does she think we owe her?]

Everything. Haven’t you heard?

5% of the world America owes everything to the other 95%.

Yet another affirmative action admit. She and Yale deserve each other. She can go there, get on the ground, and start kicking her legs when she is offended by western civilization.

So why is there no elite Mexican university offering her a full scholarship and trying to keep all her talent in Mexico?

There is no such thing as an undocumented citizen. She is not a citizen -- documented or not. She is a non-citizen.

Her talents should be of benefit to Mexico.Maybe the Mexican government can invite her to return and help her find a job instead of leaving it up the the USA because that choice may well be taken from her.

‘We are here without documentation because the US immigration system is broken and forces many families to live in fear.’

You are here, because the US immigration system is broken and does not enforce the laws. We allow in more LEGAL immigrants than every country on the planet, and possibly COMBINED.

If someone from Honduras crosses into Mexico illegally, and are caught, they are jailed. Then deported. They are not given free rides to prestigious universities and coddled.

You could forgo your scholarship and join the United States military and EARN your citizenship. I’m sure Yale would hold your spot for you.

Someone on the Yale wait list needs to start a facebook group for all of the legal residents who this person got in ahead of.

Why are colleges even allowed to educate people who are here illegally? They can’t legally get a job after college and as a society we’re better off training people who will be legally hired. Anyone supporting in-state-tuition for illegals should be deported/exiled/made-to-leave-the-US.

Yale or UT no matter. They’ll both triple her scholarship money now.
