KC, thank you for providing additional details.
This is an Awful tragedy for slain cyclists, surviving injured and loved ones.
Please encourage everyone who uses a road to be very diligent of reckless distracted and drunk drivers.

I’m slightly above room temp, and I was not attempting to define the term. It’s just an expression.
Here’s a definition for you:
Second-degree murder: any intentional murder with malice aforethought, but is not premeditated or planned in advance
Ramadan murderer my guess...
probably could not handle seeing female legs being exposed... or perhaps a shirtless male teenage boy.
yes.
they are that sick.
Apparently the guy was DUI, witnesses saw him weaving over the road before the accident, so I suspect there wasn't any malice aforethought just reckless and negligent behavior (not that it matters to the dead), and I'd be willing to bet he had priors. 5 counts of vehicular homicide at a probable 15 years each is 75 years in jail.
Driver identification. Appears to be from nearby Battle Creek.

He planned to get drunk and drive, that’s premeditation enough for me.
He was arrested for a previous DUI in Tennessee but the charges were later dropped.
Arraignment is set for today.
He has been charged with second degree murder.
