Clinton opens up double-digit lead over Trump nationwide - Reuters/Ipsos poll

NEW YORK, June 3 (Reuters) - Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton has opened up a double-digit lead over Republican rival Donald Trump, regaining ground after the New York billionaire briefly tied her last month, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday.

The shift in support comes as Clinton steps up her attacks on the real estate mogul's policy positions, and as Trump fends off criticisms of his eponymous university and the pace at which he doled out money that he raised for U.S. veterans.

Some 46 percent of likely voters said they supported Clinton, while 35 percent said they supported Trump, and another 19 percent said they would not support either, according to the survey of 1,421 people conducted between May 30 and June 3.

I hate to think that this is true. But then this country voted the gaffe prone Obama twice.

Earlier today I saw a great take on Hillary's speech on RT of all places. It got across the point how trivial it was.

It was 18% and I remember it well. Then came the debates and Willie Horton. Ducockeye was then disassembled.

The 19 percent of “Likely voters” are not as “undecided” as the pollsters may think.

And there will be a LOT of people who have not voted for YEARS, if at all, showing up at the polls.

Including, of course, the dead in many precincts, and those who somehow, manage to vote in five or six precincts in a single day. And of course, there are always the back rooms where the votes are tallied up.

Notice that Hillary is not getting over 50%.

46 percent is about what she’ll get in November.

That’s about where her support meshes nicely with the level for Democratic candidates since 1968.

Swing voters aren’t exactly falling in love with her.

Go ahead post your BS polls - the “mentally ill” liberals will not come out and vote since they THINK their candidate has it “bagged and tagged”

Hillary’s machine tries to pull off a pivot to the general.

The lesbo dominatrix tries to pull bedroom antics on America.

She will fail.

I know people that were locked into Hillary for 9 years who will not now bring her name up. They WILL talk smack about Trump, but are very silent about Hilldabeotch.

It sadly doesn’t surprise me if true. The media has an objective, and that objective is to destroy Donald Trump. They would do it to any Republican. Cruz would have fared no better if not worse. However, there is no candidate they want to destroy more than Donald Trump. Just read the Twitter of the media members covering Trump. It’s obvious that most of them don’t like him. They can’t hide their bias. CNN is in full on destroy mode right now with every gun aimed at him. There are many people who are going to believe what the media is selling. Now granted, the people who believe it the most are #NeverTrump people and liberals, but independents who swing with the wind on this type of stuff will too. It’s very hard to run as a Republican in this country because you aren’t just running against your opponent, you are running against the media and entertainment industry as well.

Garbage poll.

These are findings from an Ipsos poll conducted for Thomson Reuters May 28-June 1, 2016. For the survey, a sample of 1,615 Americans, including 759 Democrats, 525 Republicans, and 174 Independents ages 18+ were interviewed online. The precision of the Reuters/Ipsos online polls is measured using a credibility interval. In this case, the poll has a credibility interval of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points for all adults, 4.1 percentage points for Democrats, 4.9 percentage points for Republicans, and 8.5 percentage points for Independents. For more information about credibility intervals, please see the appendix.

IMHO, this is meant to bolster her as “electable” ahead of the CA primary with Sanders. She cannot lose CA.

Look at the poll here: http://polling.reuters.com/#poll/TM651Y15_13/filters/PARTY_ID_:3/dates/20160401-20160603/type/smallest

As I read it only 11% are independent, I must be reading it wrong, that’s crazy.

Tell me about it, I grew up in New York City which is about as liberal a place as any, I have tons of liberal friends, NONE of them support Hitlery. Even in Austin Texas another liberal city, one of my friends moved there, she says nobody she knows supports Hitlery, they are all for Bernie. Even super liberal Susan Sarandon is against Hitlery. The only people it seems who support Hitlery is the media!

Trump is different because he doesn’t care what the media thinks.

And he’s undeterred by push polls showing he’ll lose.

When he ran, no one thought he could win the GOP nomination.

At 35% he’s not where he wants to be but he can make up the deficit while Hillary is not going to rise about the level she is now.

I always listen to those putting their money on the line. Gamblers are going for Hitlery -220

The markets favor Hillary.

CW rarely works out wrong unless you take it in the shorts.

Then again the markets where pumping for Jeb and then for Rubio.

They’re not always right on the money. I mean this year all bets are off.
