If Trump is smart, he should sponsor a private golf tournament at his course in Miami, ask for big names (old timers and young comers) to participate, and donate all the proceeds to the traditional Miami charities/causes that they normally would go to.

AND THEN THROW IN ANOTHER MILLION OF HIS OWN MONEY FOR THOSE CHARITIES.

He can tell the PGA to go to hell, ask people to boycott the sponsors for the Mexico cartel-threatened affair, and raise millions for good causes, all at the same time.

Where I come from, this is called a “Three-Way Winner”.

You can’t be a patriot and a conservative and support free trade with Communist China. NATO countries? Sure, there is a case to be made they are our allies and we should trade openly with them but Red China? Free Traitor describes such traitorous scum best.

Exactly what would he do to stop a private group from doing this? This is the problem many of us have with Trump. Under what authority will he stop this?

Reasoning is evidently not your strong suit.

Why ask such a silly question after 7 years of Obama?
Unnoticed, by "many of you" has been exactly that. Executive orders adversely affecting the life of ordinary citizens, when lawful presidential executive power is limited to only federal employees.

Many of you have been both invisible and mute for the last 7 years???

That's exactly what we have endured from the Magic Negro.
And that he's a legal American citizen is still not even conclusive!

Will President Trump end those as well?

Sure!

If they all become lawless hellholes where corruption, drugs, kidnappings and murder become commonplace...

I visited Mexico regularly for 10 years.
Increasingly, as the years went by I heard more and more stuff that would curl your hair, as a foreigner.

I am fluent is Spanish, but carry an American Passport and don't look Mexican or Latino, and I never spoke Spanish with strangers and made very few close friends those ten years.

Until I sensed that the risks far outweighed the benefits.

I shudder thinking of a few side trips I took by myself, in rented cars, to the middle of nowhere in pitch black darkness, admiring the incredible sky-full of stars that I had not seen since I was a child (quite a few degrees closer to the equator...)

I would not do that today.
I have not been back to Mexico since 1999.

I just meant, aren’t all the traitors walking around “free” these days??

(I’m with you on ALL of it.)

Give me a break. It has been complained about but the current leaders in the GOP do nothing about it. Trump doing it is no better than Obama doing it. But I guess reasoning is not your strong suit. Hypocrite.

Even our liberal State Department run by you know who has very severe warnings about travel in Mexico.

The U.S. Department of State warns U.S. citizens about the risk of traveling to certain places in Mexico due to threats to safety and security posed by organized criminal groups in the country. U.S. citizens have been the victims of violent crimes, such as homicide, kidnapping, carjacking, and robbery by organized criminal groups in various Mexican states. For information on security conditions in specific regions of Mexico, which can vary, travelers should reference the state-by-state assessments further below. This Travel Warning replaces the Travel Warning for Mexico, issued January 19, 2016, to update information about the security situation and to advise the public of additional restrictions on the travel of U.S. government (USG) personnel.
