Absolutely. The hard Left not only gets no resistance from the GOPe, they have a staunch ally there.
Mitt Romney seemed to think that the only reason he didn’t win in 2012 was that he didn’t pander hard enough to Hispanics. No, it couldn’t possibly be due to the fact that his Liberalism Lite failed to get out the vote among people who otherwise would have supported him. According to Romney and the GOP establishment, the only thing he did wrong was that he didn’t act more like a Democrat and engage in more of a multicultural PC lovefest.
