Thanks for the heads up - I didn’t know about the new Roots but I remember being glued to the original one.
I hadn’t thought about the accent, but I think you’re right - he certainly is suave and has a bit of charm ;-)
My niece lives in PA and she had taken her children before. No way were they going to miss the chance to be there with their grandpa.
She teaches and took the kids out of school. (And dared anyone to challenge their excuses)
