Donald Trump's campaign is considering booking one of Cleveland's big sports venues for his acceptance speech in July, two GOP sources familiar with the planning of the upcoming GOP convention say.
The sources said First Energy Stadium, home of the Cleveland Browns, and Progressive Field, home of the city's Indians baseball team, are the two sites under consideration for Trump's acceptance speech on the final night of the convention.
One of the sources said the campaign is closing in on signing a contract for use of one of the two venues, with the football stadium currently the favorite for Trump's speech.
"It's going to be a big production," a Trump campaign adviser told CNN. "Given Trump's profile and how he handles things, nothing is off the table."
"And he's going to be intimately involved in it," the adviser added.

Well, if he is serious about winning Ohio, Cleveland Browns First Energy Stadium or the Cleveland Cavaliers Quicken Loans Arena is the way to go!!! The only place better would be at Ohio Stadium where the Ohio State Buckeyes play, but that’s in Columbus.
I’d go for the Cavs arena so you don’t have to worry about weather. Wow, what a show it will be!!!
I would point out that the lefties will be out in full force to attempt to disrupt the RNC. Adding a huge venue will only add to that. The baseball field would be easier since it is next door to the convention site. The football field has water on three sides.

Security around the stage would have to be unprecedented. Rumplehair/Hitlary supporters would stop at nothing to take him down.

The Browns stadium is by Lake Erie. Everything else about the convention is inland. It's a good idea.

I noticed that the most recent “Flo” Progressive commercial where the family (all members played by her) are out camping, throws in a subtle Bernie shout-out. They live for tabloid visual sensationalism. Most of them have political lusts of their own as they avidly try to find ways to pin the turmoils, assaults and arsons on Trump....all the while doing their best like carnival barkers to draw millions of gaping viewers to their respective networks....for their own publicity and for their own network's blood-soaked ratings and advertising revenue.
