LAS VEGAS (AP) -- From shootings on the Strip to the killing of a liquor store clerk who couldn't open a safe to an April weekend that saw five slayings in separate cases, crime is spiking in the shadows in Las Vegas - and spurring questions about causes and cures.
The local sheriff, police union officials and district attorney have various theories about what's behind the body count: 64 homicides by the end of April, compared with 29 killings after the first four months of 2015; 75 slayings as of Wednesday, compared with 45 by the same date last year.

Virtue in the people is needed for Freedom (and civil societies). Without Virtue, culture collapses.
That is why the SCOTUS made promoting Vice 24/7 “normal” in America-—to destroy the Christian Worldview which created the Age of Reason, Modern Science and the only true “justice” system in the history of mankind where promoting “Evil Law” was unconstitutional.
All Just Laws promote “public virtue” only (Montesquieu/Nuremberg Trials). You can NEVER use a human being as a “Means” to an End in a true Justice system-—so we have a Vice System now (Rule of Man (not Law).
Sin City promotes and glorifies using human beings as a Means-—so when you get evil people—that is the norm and civil society will collapse.
All you have to do (Ciceo) is have a true “Justice” System-—one which only rewards Virtue in people-—then you get more Virtue. Promote Vice (and reward it with money and power) and you get more vice.
Common Sense no longer exists because Classical Christian curricula was removed by John Dewey so he could indoctrinate-—shape the “plastic” little minds into irrationality (evil) by removing children from the Natural Family and putting them into artificial group-think factories so critical thinking is destroyed and Emotions rule for life.
Maturity is when Reason can control base emotions. Puerility is forced on our children since they are totally controlled-—embed dependency—is the purpose of the “publik skools” along with forcing irrational desires/beliefs where Slavery is Freedom and Vice is Virtue and Boys are Girls.
Children coming out of public schools are so DUMB and have NO ability to “think” in abstract, intelligent ways. Their minds are full of mush-—not able to integrate anything because of screens doing all the work of the brain-—and TV/movie/music programming. I am appalled at the simplistic minds (thinking) of children in my city—anycity, USA. They understand NOTHING of Reality/Truth/Real History-—nothing of the Great Minds of Western Civilization, just focused on sex since hyper-sexualizing children is the easiest way to corrupt their worldview and enslave them for life. (Focus ALL culture on sexual organs and evil, vile, irrational, mutilation and meaningless uses of the human body to little children (boys can be girls(lies) and mutilation/drugging of bodies is “good”). It all destroys ability of children to understand Reality/Truth and themselves in relationship to “the Other” (true diversity). It normalizes pagan, satanic worldview in little children —irrational use of the sex organs/body—removed from Truth/Reality-—to normalize using other human beings as a Means to an End-—always Evil.
Vice creates slaves for the State (no inner (self/virtue)control—Outer control becomes NECESSARY (totalitarianism/NWO to herd the useful idiots-—interchangeable cogs (no male/female) in the wheel).With the Monkey/Scopes trial-—Christianity was constantly demeaned, ridiculed (Alinsky) so that evenually it could be banned from all curricula so only the faiths of satanism, atheism/paganism, and iislam and mormonism (all irrational “faiths removed from Natural Law (Reason/Logic and Rule of Law (God’s).
Any city that has a tall building with his name on it, he will make sure that place is taken care, that I can tell you.
I haven’t been there for a long time, but I find Reno better, especially with the snow skiing and diner cruises on Lake Tahoe.
