Possible electoral fraud in Austrian presidential election
American Thinker ^ | May 26, 2016 | Sierra Rayne

As the days go by, the results of the Austrian presidential election get more suspicious. According to the official results, the far-left candidate Alexander Van der Bellen defeated Norbert Hofer from the Freedom Party of Austria by just 31,000 votes, 50.35% to 49.65%.

The lights were already blinking red on the day the results were being released. Writing for Breitbart soon thereafter, James Delingpole didn't mince words and called the election a sham:

We were continually assured by the left-liberal media how awful it would be if the (supposed) "far-right" candidate Norbert Hofer won. But actually the victory of Green candidate Alexander Van der Bellen – on, likely, a rigged ballot – is far, far worse. It's bad for democracy: Hofer lost by just 31,000 of the 4.64 million votes cast. Suspicions are bound to fall on the 700,000 votes cast in the postal ballot, which appears to be what swung it for Van der Bellen. But postal votes as we know – especially from the experience of Muslim-dominated constituencies in the UK – are prone to rampant fraud. Austrians who voted for Hofer are talking about "betrug" – fraud – and this may well be more than sour grapes. In some areas there was a remarkable 146.9 percent voter turnout. This stinks of a stitch up by the bien-pensant elite in unholy alliance with the immigrant bloc vote.

Austrians should be concerned. There are red flags all over these results.

I hope they can prove it and reverse the results.

“far-left candidate Alexander Van der Bellen defeated Norbert Hofer from the Freedom Party of Austria by just 31,000 votes, 50.35% to 49.65%.”

In areas ruled by the left, these “impossibly” small margins always seem to exist, don’t they? In Minnesota for the Senate, with Franken and Coleman 255 votes away from each other. Broward County, FL with a hair’s-breath margin in a critical race.

These neck and neck races are statistically IMPOSSIBLE happening at this frequency. “Votes” are being produced. Maryland just proved how prevalent this is.

Wow you think so?

Austria just followed the Americans and elected a guy who hates their country.

Obama’s 2nd term was accomplished this way. Hillary’s 2 terms are already programmed into the corrupted vote-counting machinery.

Interpretation Austrian military and law enforcement communities do not accept the results and will overturn them. For those of you claiming Hillary will do the same thing. Wise up.

Surprise, surprise.

Trump better have a legal team ready for this sort of thing - even though it looks like Hillary will implode well before the election, but be prepared for socialists to do what socialists always do at the ballot box.

In some areas there was a remarkable 146.9 percent voter turnout.

Slackers, compared to Cleveland, Philly, and a few hundred other Democrat areas in the USA.

Or if they lose the initial count they’ll have endless recounts until the numbers get massaged into a win for them.

About a decade ago Hugh Hewitt wrote a book called If It's Not Close, They Can't Cheat

The corollary of that is, if it is close, they WILL cheat.

I hate voting by mail and most of the other "absentee voting" schemes.

700,000 absentee ballots out of 4.6 million cast seems like too high a percentage to me. All those people could not trouble themselves to be at the polls on voting day?

Even here in the U.S., we need to reign in this absentee and "early" voting. There should only be two reasons for absentee voting. Military service and legitimate business travel. Otherwise, be there on Election Day.

“Even here in the U.S., we need to reign in this absentee and “early” voting.”

I’m in 100% agreement. Early voting is ridiculous. Voting by mail is COMPLETELY ridiculous. Absentee ballots need to be handled exactly as you stated.

If they’re worried about precincts being swamped, make more of them! We pay more than enough in taxes. Make more frigging space! If paper ballots are used, then there is no need for expensive machines or other nonsense!

This isn’t frigging difficult!!! With some basic frigging guidelines, you can make voting ridiculously easy and virtually corruption free! It is so blatantly obvious they want this process to be made difficult on purpose for corruption purposes!!!! Moreover, the additional ways of voting means that there are additional ways to cheat!!! Ugh I am so sick of liberals!
