Obama: Trump Candidacy Has 'Rattled' World Leaders (BARFER)

President Barack Obama said Thursday that world leaders are "rattled" by Donald Trump — and "for good reason."

During a press conference in Japan, Obama said the American presidential election is being "very" closely watched oversees. He told reporters that "it's fair to say" world leaders are "surprised" Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee.

"They are not sure how seriously to take some of his pronouncements but they're rattled by him — and for good reason, because a lot of the proposals that he's made display either ignorance of world affairs or a cavalier attitude," Obama added.

He suggested Trump's controversial proposals were more about "getting tweets and headlines" than "actually thinking through" what's needed to keep America safe or the "world on an even keel."

Trump has made China a frequent target of his attacks — such as saying the country will "suck the blood" out of the U.S.

Obama said Iraq was a "soverign and stable country" by his own words when he took office. His "ignorance" of ISIS went on full display when he blew them off as the JV team, even though they were rolling into Iraq out in the open. Just ask the citizens of Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Yemen. Because of Obama , thousands have been slaughtered, and they barely exist as countries. Not to mention, we now have a migrant crisis of biblical proportions because of his ignorance.

The press is moving on to use international polls to take down Trump ...

It's not just world leaders who are "rattled" by Donald Trump. A new poll of the public in six countries allied to the US found that 78% thought that Trump would make the world more dangerous.

The YouGov poll for the campaign group Avaaz found that 61% said his views made a Paris style attack more likely.

The survey views from the UK, France, Germany, Mexico, Canada and Japan is believed to be the first global poll on attitudes to Trump.
