Tom Cotton calls Reid's leadership 'cancerous'

Tom Cotton laid into Harry Reid on Wednesday, calling Reid's recent remarks on the Senate floor "vulgar" and "incoherent" — before adding that the Democrat's leadership has been "cancerous."

As a junior ranking senator, Cotton spends lots of his time presiding over the Senate. And, as a result, a lot of time listening to Reid. And on Wednesday, Cotton had enough of it, leaping to the defense of Sen. John McCain after Reid bashed the GOP for rushing through a massive defense bill. "I'm forced to listen to the bitter, vulgar, incoherent ramblings of the minority leader. Normally like other Americans I ignore them, I can't ignore them today," Cotton said of Reid's complaints. "When was the last time the minority leader read a bill? It was probably an electricity bill."

Then responding to Reid's protestations over the Senate GOP's schedule, which appears headed toward working the least days in session in 60 years, Cotton said there is a silver lining.

Tom Cotton is right. Harry Reid is the Al Qaeda of the Senate. Chuck Schumer is the ISIS.

“I’m forced to listen to the bitter, vulgar, incoherent ramblings of the minority leader(REID). Normally like other Americans I ignore them, I can’t ignore them today,” Cotton said of Reid’s complaints. “When was the last time the minority leader read a bill? It was probably an electricity bill.”

“....the happy by-product of fewer days in session in the Senate is that this institution will be cursed less with his(REID) cancerous leadership,” Cotton said.

COTTON! You magnificent bastard! Well said!

I’m glad that at least some of the senators are finally standing on their hind legs to protest Reid’s grotesque and anti-American behavior. While Mitch McConnell always falls all over himself offering fairness to Democrats, who have always been anything *but* fair to Republicans, this at least bodes well, that sooner or later the Democrats will have to taste their own medicine.

And with a more conservative Republican as POTUS, much of their hundred years of malfeasance might get torn down, to the betterment of America and its people.

Tom Cotton was a Sea Island Republican. I don’t trust him.

And he has had some unsavory GOPe boosters promoting his career, Hugh Hewitt being a prime one.
