LGBT group wants Dallas to cut ties with pastor after controversial remark

A Dallas-based LGBT resource center is calling on Dallas leaders to cut ties with a controversial North Texas pastor who compared gay-friendly business advocates to ISIS.

First Baptist Church of Dallas' Senior Pastor Robert Jeffress made the remarks on a radio program last week when he was discussing president Obama's transgender directive to public schools.

"I've said often the greatest thread to freedom of religion in America is not ISIS, it's the chamber of commerce," the pastor said on the radio. "I mean, it's the businesses that say to our representatives, 'Oh, don't pass laws like that. Don't pass these religious freedom laws because people will interpret that as anti-gay and we'll lose business."

This is a good article and shows how the fags twist people's words around to suit their anti-Christian agenda.

What does this even mean?

Beyond that, the examples are flooding in by the day of a tiny sliver of society drunk on their own power thanks to feckless politicians and, of course, a media who portray a group confused about basic plumbing as virtuous, noble, etc.

How did homosexuals get so much power in this country?

Especially when they compose about 1% of the population?

I just emailed the church thanking the pastor for taking a stance against this perversion. I would encourage all of you to do the same.

Identify homosexual owned businesses and boycott them all.

What “ties” are they talking about? Back in the days of W.A. Criswell, Jeffries’ predecessor as pastor, the pastor and First Baptist Church were formidable players in Dallas civic affairs. However, the demographics of the city have changed radically since Dr. Criswell’s heyday 40-50 years ago Dallas was a majority white, middle class, Protestant, and culturally conservative city then. That population has passed away or moved to the suburbs. Dallas is currently a multi-ethnic city with the usual liberal politics of big cities.

We need more reactions like that CFA Day. That was massive. Unbelievable response.

If that kind of thing keeps showing up, the fags and their lib-commie users/enablers might finally start backing down.

Jeffress is right!
LGBT use bullying tactics to coerce the public into going along with them.

Just yesterday I was in a grocery store that has a monopoly on Florida and other southeast states.

I was looking for a get well card and next to those were anniversary cards

I was saddened to see.....blatantly......a gay friendly card with two men on the front with their arms around each other.....
The caption was....WE ARE HUSBANDS

I approached the assistant manager...( they told me she was the manager, but I found out he wasn’t there that day)

I explained..nicely.....that I had been buying from them for 30 plus years and was beyond disappointed they would display this.

She said she would call me.

She called and essentially said.....’we’re keeping the card, just avoid the card section’
( I mentioned my granddaughter shops with me sometimes.)
She also said ‘just don’t look at the card......like when you don’t want to watch a certain TV show’
I said......This is a public grocery store, not my home

Whatever happened to....The Customer Is Always Right?

If anyone has any suggestions for me, I welcome them
I’m not letting this go!

Typically, the greeting card space in grocery stores are not managed directly by the store but by the greeting card jobber. The jobber takes care of the racks, stocking and sorting, etc. Your issue is with the likes of Hallmark which has been round-the-bend lib forever. They were a major factor behind the delay in MO getting concealed carry since Hallmark is based in KCMO.

Jeffress wasn’t comparing anything to ISIS. What a distortion. He was saying that the LGBT agenda is a bigger threat to religious liberty in America today, which is true.

And what's with this label a controversial North Texas pastor anyway? The media gets me steamed up. Slap a warning label on whatever you don't agree with....

Pastor Robert Jeffress is a frequent contributor on Fox News Channel and often notes the threat to liberty on air.

Pastor Jeffress is just a prime example in the Church during these last days where the Lord is quickly separating the Wheat from the tares.

“Economic Prosperity” in an uncontrolled society goes hand-in-hand with sin.

Sodom & Gomorrah were economic powerhouses too before they were firebombed by the Lord.
