A senior Egyptian forensics official says human remains retrieved from the crash site of EgyptAir flight 804 suggest there was an explosion on board that may have brought down the aircraft.
The official is part of the Egyptian investigative team and has personally examined the remains at a Cairo morgue.
He spoke on condition of anonymity because he isn't authorised to release the information.
He says all 80 pieces brought to Cairo so far are small and that 'there isn't even a whole body part, like an arm or a head'.

Another report this morning says the plane did not “swerve” as previously reported. I still think pilot jihad.

A body intact,or nearly intact,could point to no explosion.Little bits of bodies suggest the opposite.
The outside door to the electronic bay under the pilot compartment is UNlocked and accessible to any crew from outside. Even a small explosive device placed inside the electronic bay compartment will bring down an aircraft such as this Airbus model because it is all electronic controls and there is no option for pilots to fly the plane manually.
A manual override would require extensive mechanical components reaching all wing and rudder controls, which adds significantly to manufacturing cost AND increases weight of the airplane, thereby reducing cargo capacity and fuel mileage. Airplanes such as this Airbus model are so popular because of their excellent fuel efficiency and low cost.
