We may be seeing preview stages of what I’ll call “The Trump Effect.”
The Washington D.C. Metro transit system has been plagued by chronic safety lapses and incidents, disasters, wrecks, track fires, smoke, people trapped in tunnels on trains with no help or rescue, overcome by smoke, crews not fixing things and problems recurring, bureaucrats endlessly circling the wagons and shuffling papers around — until finally this past week, 20 top D.C. Metro officials were FIRED!
People around here still can’t believe they actually gave the overpaid worthless scumbags the boot. But things have gotten so bad.
Perhaps these are signs of things to come, with the incoming Trump presidency. We can hope.
