American Republicans who support Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential bid are knowingly backing “the meanest, whitest, most vile bigot possible” because they fear losing majority status.
That’s according to The Guardian’s Steven Thrasher, who contends that minorities will never prosper in the United States until 2043 “when this white supremacist nation becomes mostly non-white.”
Thrasher calls Trump’s rise to political power on the right predictable nearly eight years after the nation elected its first black president because “every bold advancement of progress in the United States is met by a racist backlash.”
Calling Obama “a clear symbol that the country is literally becoming more black,” Thrasher believes white Americans view Trump as a candidate who could somehow reverse the trend.
“In its final 27 years, some of the dying white majority are so desperate to hold onto their dwindling power it’ll come as no surprise when they follow history’s powder and elect a reactionary, racist, sexist man,” Thrasher said. “And that’s why a Trump presidency would be as historically American as the bald eagle, indigenous genocide, the three-fifths clause, mass incarceration, and apple pie.”
This, of course, is a bunch of nonsense.
First of all, Obama’s hope and change progress for U.S. blacks looks a little less impressive from a minority perspective by the numbers.
As talk show host and political commentator Tavis Smiley pointed out awhile back when asked if black Americans are doing better under Obama: “I’m not sure we are and I think ultimately the president missed a moment… On every leading economic issue, in the leading economic issues Black Americans have lost ground in every one of those leading categories. So in the last ten years it hasn’t been good for black folk. This is the president’s most loyal constituency that didn’t gain any ground in that period.”
Since Obama’s ‘bold advancement” into the White House, black poverty rates have inched up by a couple percentage points while labor participation rates for American blacks have hit historic lows.
Back in 2014, The Financial Times pointed out that median income for non-white households in the U.S. had “dropped by almost a 10th to $33,000 a year” since Obama’s inauguration. Similarly, net worth for black households fell an astonishing 34 percent between 2010 and 2013.
So if white Americans were truly looking for a presidential candidate who can harm minority progress, they’d vote for whichever candidate whose economic policy agenda most closely resembles Obama’s.
No offense but I am mixed to an extent, and I do wish for this nation to get our crap right, just saying.
The funny part of this is that America is becoming increasingly white, because more and more Hispanics and Asians are calling themselves white. Often they are so fair skinned that they fit within the color range of whites.
And both Hispanics and Asians are cross breeding with whites so their children will be even more white looking.
“Whites have also had a very high intermarriage rate (hispanics, asians, native americans) with the exception of blacks. These calls for “death of the white majority” assume all these mixed kids and their kids identify as non-white. Given today’s racial preferences, though, nearly all do. And it is only a minority if you count Spanish speaking whites as non-white, which is what Hispanic means.”
It actually depends on the white parent. If they are a guilt-ridden liberal, then you’re right. But if they LOVE THIS COUNTRY, as I do, then my mixed kids will also love the country, and they do.
As to whites (usually males) choosing people from other countries...that’s just life - American women may be great lovers, initially, but they’ll clean you out after the wedding, statistically speaking. To put it another way, some of us white guys PREFER only getting married once, and not having the drama that we see our siblings and friends having to deal with...as they are forced to lawyer-up and then wind up in mixed ‘families’.
Most whites won’t vote for another black President in their lifetime.

So whites found the freest, most prosperous country on Earth, not withstanding some obvious flaws like slavery that had to be allowed for the United States to come into existence, have bent over backwards to repress racist urges that all races have and implemented special programs to force companies to hire minorities and promote them, allow minorities to abuse the welfare and social security system, passed laws to allow racial intermarriage, passed laws that allow minorities to sue companies on the basis of their race and these backstabbing, race-baiting luberals are gleefully waiting for whites to die out?

Not if Trump has his way. In 2014 Texas was supposed to be a ‘Purple State’, a toss-up between the Dems and the Republicans.
But one thing happened just prior to the election: People who voted were forced to prove that they were voting legally. Result: Republicans won by 20 points in EVERY statewide race, and that included one Republican (now our Lt. Gov) who openly campaigned against Open Borders (the other nuanced around the issue).

And it’s not so much that whites fear losing their majority status. It’s that after voluntarily giving up power to other races to create a just, multi-racial society, it appears that without superior numbers whites will become second-class citizens, with fewer rights that the non-white majority.
I suspect that is part of the problem right there. I heard a rumor that the rats like Ted Kennedy, decided they could never get people to vote for socialism/ communism, so they figured they would get millions of 3rd world minorities here, who WOULD vote for the rats. The rats are evil, and so is the GOP e.
I have had minorities tell me to my face, that they didn't care if the whole country is destroyed, as long as it hurts white people. So, the answer, for some of them, is yes.
It’s already happening in Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico and almost every African nation.
This is what they truly want. That’s why they keep pushing for 3rd world immigration. It’s their end game.
Sooner than that.
