A Note About Our Coverage Of Donald Trump’s ‘Campaign’ [From July 17, 2015]
Huffington Post ^ | July 17, 2015 | Ryan Grim; Danny Shea

Posted on 05/22/2016 8:40:31 PM PDT by SamAdams76

After watching and listening to Donald Trump since he announced his candidacy for president, we have decided we won’t report on Trump’s campaign as part of The Huffington Post’s political coverage. Instead, we will cover his campaign as part of our Entertainment section. Our reason is simple: Trump’s campaign is a sideshow. We won’t take the bait. If you are interested in what The Donald has to say, you’ll find it next to our stories on the Kardashians and The Bachelorette.

Perfect. Treat it all like a joke. Excellent. No need for liberals to bother to vote, then.

Michelle Fields is now an entertainment reporter.

Exactly. That was my reason for re-posting this July article. Obviously Michelle Fields will be busy covering the Kadashians and Bruce Jenner along with Donald Trump.

It will be remembered that July 17, 2015 was the day that The Huffington Post jumped the shark/nuked the fridge.

This is what socialists do. Belittle and de-humanize those who don’t agree with you. In the end, it helps the conscience stay clear when you cattle-prod them into the gas chambers.

Interesting post from a HuffyPo story of almost a year ago.

If they move Donald to entertainment, then Hillary’s campaign should be covered in their Crime section.

The word ‘coverage’, not ‘campaign’, is the proper word to be putting in scare quotes here.

Well just damn. Lefties admitting outright that they disconnect from the parts of reality that disturb them. They do it with science, biology, facts, evidence, common sense, logic, etc., etc. And we get the world we’re all waking up to each day now. A world-wide psych ward, where they insist everything is opposite from what it actually is. And dammit you WILL believe it, regardless of the insane consequences. They’ll “fix” the consequences as they occur. Got to keep the loonies on the path!

I'd like for that to be true, but I think you'll find the HuffPost changed their minds and put Trump back into politics. So this is not much of a demotion.

As for Michelle Fields, I don't hate her, and actually had a tiny degree of sympathy for her. She wants to turn herself into Megan Kelly by being a pretty girl reporter who doesn't cover the news, but becomes the news. It is easier than starting out at the bottom and working her way to the top by being an actual reporter, and it looks like she has made some good investments in implants in addition to a journalism degree, so there is a chance that she can still make it.

I had hoped, however, that the result of all this would have been for her to get a job away from the cameras, maybe at a small city newspaper away from D.C., where she would be confined to doing real journalism, starting with obituaries and working her way up. Right now, she hasn't truly been punished for this, and the main lesson she may have learned is to get a better scheme.

A women who creates hoaxes shouldn’t be anywhere near reporting the news. Frankly she should be sitting in jail right now for fraud.

To her, working her way to the top would be as bad as jail.

This is the kind of publication you end up with when socialist twats are in charge...if you don't like reality, live in a fantasy of your own. Fine if you're writing Cosmo but you have to leave your dollies at home if you want to write the news, little girls. To rip off Jack Nicholson: "Think of a male journalist, then take away reason, and accountability."
