If you read one thing: Top Republican leaders, operatives, and donors are thinking twice about their #NeverTrump stances after a series of polls showing Republican voters trust Trump over Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. Outright opposition to Trump is fading fast, as most Republican insiders prepare to reluctantly get on board the “Trump Train” to avoid being locked out of the party if he wins, and being blamed for his defeat should he fall.

I voted for a former actor a few decades ago and think the country was a better place for it.
I just keep reminding myself that President Ronald Wilson Reagan was a life-long democrat... until he changed parties.
And he signed F.O.P.A, HR4332, with the duplicitously inserted verbiage restricting the mfr. of NFA firearms (the last-second voice vote amendment having been “deemed passed” by congressman Bawney Fwank despite video showing it never passed muster) without a moment’s hesitation.
Would Trump screw us? Possibly. But I’ll take my chances on having him residing in the oval office over Hitlery any day.

Ryan has earned nothing. Millions of voters don't even know who he is.
Coming to their senses, kicking and screaming. Or, rather, to protect their little centers of power and prestige. Until those, too, are whittled away to zilch.

They should have come to their senses when we put them in the majority. Instead they’ve been giving Obama and the Rainbow Communist Jihad victory after unforced victory.
They are sidling up to Trump in hopes their stink will waft on to the Donald and erode some of his support. They despise him.

Too late. Trump will NEVER forget their treachery. Bill Kristol, Eric Erickson, and so many others are DEAD in the GOP now, with zero influence in the White House for the first time in decades.
Exactly right. Time to focus on supporting Trump to defeat Hillary or Sanders
Reality finally sinks in, and the real goal of defeating communists over political gamesmanship within the party.

Yeah, in the GOPe lexicon, “leaders” and “principled conservatives” are only words.
There’s a chance that if the Congress gives Trump a bill repealing Title 18, Section 922(o), he will sign it. What are the odds that Shitllary will do that?
FYI, that “gem” was snuck in at the last minute using a falsified voice vote. Reagan probably didn’t know about it, and was told by his aides to sign it. Blame them.
