GEORGE P. BUSH: A BUSH CAN SURVIVE IN TRUMP POLITICAL WORLD
AP ^ | May 21, 2:40 AM EDT | WILL WEISSERT

DALLAS (AP) -- George P. Bush was talking about his future political plans - and how Donald Trump wouldn't reshape them - when two women approached, giddy with excitement. Eighteen months after he was elected Texas land commissioner and a few weeks past his 40th birthday, Bush is quietly continuing his family's legacy. The grandson of one former president and nephew of another, he remains a rising star in America's largest conservative state and is keeping alive the possibility that a political dynasty declared dead by many when his dad flamed out of the presidential race could yet again return to national prominence. Bush said he was part of a national conservative movement concerned about Trump's candidacy. "He has the ability to win us over if he clarifies many of his remarks and he demonstrates that he has humility and that he doesn't besmirch peoples' character as the motivating factor for why he's running for office," Bush said.

P is not a conservative. When will folks realize that the Nush family is part of the DC political class?

Sorry nephew. Trump doesn’t owe you anything. Not one word.

he remains a rising star in America's largest conservative state

Who says that this new Schrub is a "rising star"? The Associated Press? Screw them. This is nothing but a propaganda piece that intends to push another wannabe elitist Bush onto the stage.

No more Bushes!

No more Royalty!

>>>The Definition of Bush League, is Jeb losing and his Daddy, Brother, both ex Presidents, joining Jeb in not endorsing Trump.<<<

The sons (including George) were both born politically elite. They thought they were entitled to ascend to daddy’s throne. Ha!

George P. Bush is even more delusional that others of the Bush Clan! Land Commissioner? That is only a half step above Community Organizer!!

They both pay very well (once you start accepting the bribes) but neither occupation offers any useful experience in honest governance.

The other side of the coin is - they are both excellent training grounds for scum-sucking bottom feeders aforementioned; or unnamed...

This gotch-eyed cull is a criminal who didn’t get prosecuted because of daddy’s status.

But he is still a criminal. If I was the female victim’s dad I would have cut George P. Bush down so that one half fell inside the house, and one half fell out.

Notice how they now only have hope of rising up from the ash heap of their own total historical burn out. They’re being pushed farther and farther back into the historical archives of how the Republican party destroyed itself from within and was too dumb to realize it.

There is always a chance that he isn’t like his dad, his uncle, and his grandfather. But he can thank them for destroying whatever chance he might have had to show us so. They have destroyed the Bush legacy.

My take on the Bush family politicians and, for that
matter, the rest of country club GOP set is that they
have let the times and events pass them by. The Democrats
and their hack media pals are always rattling on about
how the Republicans keep moving to the right. That is
not true. The reality is real conservatives have stayed
put. It is the Democrat (NOT Democratic) Party that
has shifted farther left. And, it is the light weight
wing of the GOP that has offered token resistance if
any at all.

Witness the gay marriage issue. Thirty years ago neither
Republicans nor Democrats believed that gays should be
granted the right to marry. Who changed? It was the
Democrats. Real conservative Republicans resisted
while the RINO contingent was too afraid of the liberal
media to push back.

Every so-called “progressive” idea foisted on the American
public by the liberals is barely resisted by the
“Rockefeller” wing of the GOP as represented by the
Bush family and the Congressional leadership of the party.
Hell, the Democrats have become so emboldened they are
offering a socialist and a she-crook as POTUS candidates!
And, the GOPe thinks Trump is the problem!

As the Democrats surge to the left, there is Trump
following behind, picking up support from many
disenfranchised Democrat voters along with the GOP
conservative base. Remember Reagan Democrats? Or, are
the GOPe types still trying to forget Reagan?
