American Jewish billionaire Sheldon Adelson and the Republican Jewish Coalition are said to be “laying the groundwork” for a visit to Israel by presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, ahead of the party convention in July that is expected to see the businessman formally claim the nomination.
The Guardian newspaper on Friday night quoted three conservative sources “with strong ties to Adelson,” who said that the casino mogul has pushed the benefits of a visit to the Jewish state.
“I’m sure Sheldon suggested the trip,” the paper quoted a conservative donor close to Adelson as saying.
Planning for the visit is already underway, the paper said, but added that “nothing has been finalized.”
According to the Guardian, Zionist Organization of America chief Morton Klein, who is considered to be close to Adelson, said he was told by Jewish Trump aide Jason Greenblatt that the presidential candidate would indeed visit the Jewish state ahead of the Republican convention that begins on 18 July in Cleveland, Ohio.

It wouldn't be that hard to work out a realistic deal for the region, the main points being return of the Golan Heights to Syria in exchange for the muslim world finding some rational place to put the "palestinians".
That said, I hope they cover all the bases.
Israel can’t trust Syria or any other country in the ME. Absolutely NO to the return of any territory.
I am torn between two views on this- I want him to get elected first- but showing fear to go there now would be giving in to the terrorists.
I hate to even think it, but there should be MASSIVE security for this- because I could seem them using every resource they can to try to make sure he does not make it to the election.

The Arab Palestinians are a fictional people akin to the klingons. They should not be appeased in any way. Also, the U.S. does not know how to deal with the Middle East at all and shouldn’t be giving any orders to Israel. Especially orders from Obama who merely wants to destroy Israel, using Iran as his weapon.
I’ve been to Israel several times, including at the height of the homicide bombings in 2002. Trump should not be cowardly.
Mr. Trump is running for President of the US, not prime minister of Israel. Not going there right now is not cowardly, it is taking care of priorities.

recently i heard a quote “ You can tell a man by his enemies”....well I do remember reading the headlines on Drudge about 2-3 mos ago about China and The Donald & a sort of statement was issued by China & to say the least THEY aren’t happy him. Well, boo-di-hoo-hoo-China is actually AFRAID of The Donald & to me that’s happy news.
