He was leading by a few thousand votes.

When the liberal supervisor came out she said the other worthless a hole dem was ahead by 2000.
West was a tea party guy and the Rinos refused to back him.
Pretty good summary...she announced the 300 vote change when she said the error was in the early vote count. She knew by then that West won the other county he covered. That woman was the butterfly ballot lady and this one testified for her...tit for tat!
I can not quite forgive West for not fighting harder in the re-count. Did you remember they sent everyone home, finished the re-count in a locked building and then closed themselves in an office (LOCKED DOOR!) and did not come out until after the deadline that the state had to accept the election night totals? I am still angry.
