Why can the atheists just ignore the Bibles in hotel rooms? I don’t want to read the sports page in the complementary newspaper, but I’m not demanding it be banned. I just ignore it and mind my own business.

Exactly. I'm an atheist, and I don't get my shorts in a wad because there's a Bible in my room. Big deal. So what!
I'm sick and tired of my fellow atheists acting like attention whores. If you want to show that your atheist way of life is better, then live a good life, mind your own business and keep your mouth shut. Nobody needs to know your beliefs, and the overwhelming majority of people don't care anyway.
A Bible is like krytonite to them. The Word of God reveals the truth and they hate the truth because it shows them how stupid and ignorant they are. And that hurts their feeling.
Because their vampire superstitions make them think that a book in a drawer, neither of which they need ever open, can somehow harm them.
Because besides being atheists they are totalitarians and a good part of their worldview is through totalitarian lenses.
