ISIS has executed 25 people in Mosul, northern Iraq, by lowering them in a vat of nitric acid, according to several local news reports. The men had been accused of spying on ISIS on behalf of Iraqi government security forces. According to witnesses, the 25 alleged 'spies' had been tied together with a rope and lowered in a large basin containing nitric acid until their organs dissolved.

I tried to get into this show until I saw this episode.
Never watched it again.
And no action by King Obama makes him conspirator. Millions of deaths are directly his responsibility. First pulling out of Iraq and doing literally nothing to stop ISIS and he had the power.
I can't help but wonder how utterly demented someone must be to actually kill another human being that way. I understand that killing is in our nature, but even the most brutal murderer must have some sense of empathy. Lacking that, he is nothing more than a soulless killing machine. So we certainly don't have to feel bad about destroying these abominations.

Nitric acid burns are destructive in several ways. Not only do they break down flesh and organ tissue by a very high rate of denaturing (essentially ripping the amino acids out of their protein base), but the heat generated does its part to further break down and COOK what organs are not first denatured. Nitric acid also produces nitric oxides of various forms, which destroy lungs and air passages, in a most painful manner, essentially adding asphyxiation to the death process.
And every bit of it will be excruciatingly painful.
I know. I had once worked in a chemistry laboratory, and learned this from an accidental nitric acid spill. Nitric acid eats up just about anything of organic nature, except for some kinds of rubberized material. You do not want to inhale the fumes, either.
This is so far from any form of “humane” execution, that there has to be a psychopathic element involved.
All our boys who died for Mosul..... I cry for them as well as these newest victims.
Do you think those in Dresden or Hamburg or Tokyo which were all firebombed to extinction did. BTW, neither of these were strategic military targets. If not, they you have your answer.
I also don’t think any US prisoners there “deserved” their fate either. The point is where is there a concentration of ISIS. I believe they deserve their fate If you don’t take up a rifle and root them out yourself.
