Bennett was one of the reasons our nation is in such a convoluted mess! He has been one of the collaborators on its demise. What a simple-minded, Trump-hating old fool who was upset that Trump will upset the careerist Republicrat applecart.
What is it with Mormons that in politics many stray to the center and then to the far left of center demonstrating their love of being statist.
Bennett left this world carrying so much hate for Trump. He should of been more concerned about his own life as a RINO. A single stroke seriously affects the brain and dementia often kicks in.

If so, he wanted to "go up to every single one of them to thank them for being in this country, and apologize to them on behalf of the Republican Party for Donald Trump.

He’s dead. His family mourns him. What practical purpose to such a story?

Jim Bennett also said as a Mormon, his father “recognized the parallel between the Mormon experience and the Muslim experience,”

Autopsies reveal pathologies. Some of those are communicable, and it is best to be aware of them.

Fortunately he was removed from office, unfortunately his cohort in crime saw what happened and was able to manipulate the voters in his state convention and avoid what happened to Bennett. That would be the esteemed and honorable Senator from UT who shall remain nameless at least in my post.

I agree. Whatever he was like politically in life, he was facing death, and had to have been sincere in his belief or he wouldn’t have spent his last moments doing this. Most of us in this nation want to believe in people, and from a Christian heritage perspective truly believe in turning the other cheek and not being judgmental. That said, this situation is more complex IMHO because we also have an obligation to protect innocence, and to stop groups of people from harming others. That MSN would see fit to use this man’s death and his actions before death to attack a political candidate is unethical ‘journalism’, and disgusting.

To liberals like Bennett, party is religion.
