McCain In Deep Trouble in GOP Primary; Trump, Clinton Close in AZ
PPP ^ | 5/17/16 | Tom Jensen

Posted on 05/17/2016 12:42:34 PM PDT by BigEdLB

PPP's new Arizona poll finds that John McCain has a negative approval rating with Republican primary voters, and is at pretty serious risk of losing nomination for another term. Only 35% of GOP voters approve of the job McCain is doing to 50% who disapprove. He's in particularly poor standing with conservative voters. Among 'somewhat conservative' voters his approval spread is 33/52, and among 'very conservative' voters it drops all the way down to 18/67.

If McCain were to win....it would obviously be his last term....and as he would never have to worry about facing the voters again, he’d be a totally loose cannon for 6 years...

I pass.

McCain has a week spine. He is no match for biased reporters. He does not want to be a match for biased reporters. He is a plain embarassment when he takes the liberal position to get along with similar mind sets.

They can’t help it. Power is far more addictive than heroin. They simply cannot live without that fix, until they finally learn that they can.

PPP has Sanders beating Trump in Arizona. Yeah, okay.

PPP polled the AZ Gov race in 2014.

They had the Dem ahead 36-35.

The Republican won by 11 points 54 to 43.

Sorry, but Palin supported McCain for his Senate reelection in 2010. Source

It's Palin's worst endorsement ever, and has made me consider her endorsements with caution ever since.

As usual, conservatives will screw it up by splitting opposition votes among multiple candidates, and Juan will be back in the money for another 6 years.

I have posted that before but I really can't relate to that thinking.

I have had positions of authority before and it didn't go to my head. I know some people that lived for that authority.

I have alway felt humbled being selected to lead and be responsible for important things. I did my best and did well but I am just as comfortable being on my own and not being "important." I guess some people have a low opinion of themselves and use that power to make up for their shortcomings.

25 to 1 money, huh? Hope he’s as successful as Yeb was with his $100 million. Dr. Ward looks quite interesting. My AZ relatives are all in her camp big time. And they always vote.

As for the money, look what DJT has done with little money. Am I right that the AZ GOP has denounced Juan and are they actually backing Dr. Ward? She have a chance in the primary?

Let’s trade. You work on Juan’s ouster and I’ll see what I can do here in Wisconsin about Paul Ryan. He’s not in my district, but Trump won the county in which Ryan resides in Janesville. hee hee. Just sayin. Wouldn’t it be great to Cantorize both of these guys?

Ms. dreamer.....

I can’t believe it’s that close between Trump and Clinton. They must’ve polled Tucson. On the other hand, AZ seems to be getting more liberal. Phoenix elects democrat mayors most of the time.

I call that a fair deal.

No one in Congress deserves to be Cantorized more than McAmnesty.
He has betrayed his constitutents multiple times with his amnesty schemes.
He only talks conservative at election time.
I hope the people of AZ have wised up.
