Trump’s VP Pick Prediction
Scott Adams' Blog Dilbert ^ | Posted May 17th, 2016 | Scott Adams

Posted on 05/17/2016 9:15:26 AM PDT by GilGil

As I said, predicting a VP choice is nearly impossible until the last minute because the situation is fluid. A candidate might need some help in a key state, based on current polling. Or the opponent might open up a new line of attack that needs a defense. A lot can change in a few weeks.

But as of today, and according to the Master Persuader filter, I put the odds at 90% than Trump picks Brown as his running mate.

I miss the old FR when the site was dominated by conscientious conservatives. If I was Trump I would pick Scott Walker or Rubio, or Kasich.

How about Jan Brewer? I can’t think about her without seeing her standing on the tarmac with her finger in the little o’s face.

Newt also has way too much baggage.

Gingrich would be popular among conservatives, but Trump already has those votes (at least most of them).

Trump should pick a candidate that will enhance the ticket’s appeal to fence-sitting voters. A secondary consideration is to position someone to continue his policies, rather than undo them.

One thing is for sure, there is no shortage of GOPE losers on the bench.

In fact, that’s all they got.

Here’s two, for what it’s worth: Chris Christie, or Joni Ernst.

" Scott Brown has scant experience when placed alongside Newt’s."

None of us want to follow this comparison too far I suppose.

Brown what?....he lost his enthusiasm as soon as he got settled in DC. I think he got put in his place...and liked it..... Newt’s a better choice

How about Jan Brewer?

She will be 72 in September...too old to carry on after Pres Trump's term(s) are over. Same with Newt - he will be 73 next month. He would be a great Chief of Staff though.

What can be guessed on a VP pick? 1. They will be an old dude, 2. White, 3. Old time Washington guy, 4. may from the South or western states.5. Someone Trump knows and trusts. 6. Someone who has proven his Loyalty to Donald. Will NOT be picked because of his race or gender. It will come out of the blue but it will be someone who is known to the public. Maybe a war hero or a General but not an actor or sports person. That is my guess.

Trump may be smart but he’s loyal to the nth degree and Brown was one of the first to support him. Worries me because Brown is against the conservative base on so many levels.

Hopefully Trump won’t be like Republicans and think we’re too far along to have a real choice, that we’ll have to suck it up no matter who he picks because Hillary is the alternative. What that thinking leaves out is the disillusioned voters who can’t bring themselves to go to the polls. That’s what beat Romney.

I predict his VP pick will be an attractive woman. At least as attractive as Sarah Palin.

I don’t want 10 minutes of Cruz.

Then you really don't understand the Constitution.
