Rubberized posts eh? I bet that would’ve been good entertainment...lol
15 “illegal aliens” crash a security gate at a Naval Station? huh?. . .Was there an on-base 7-11?
They’re connecting parts of the net, check out the picture at the link.
It looks like an updated version of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZ_Q_97kQzE
Why would illegals try to enter a military base? Unless they are terrorists that is the dumbest thing I ever heard.
The illegals want to get to the free transgenders.
They got confused and were asking for directions.
I doubt they knew they were entering the base as they probably don’t speak/read English.
Nevermind most of these people are dumber than a sack of hammers.
No country of origin? Cubans, Syrians, Mexicans, Venezuelans, Guatemalans, ISIS?
They were being chased by border patrol at the time of the incident.
Keep in mind that no one on base is authorize to carry weapons except the on duty police officers. Often simply civilian guards.
Probably right. Probably couldn’t read street signs well enough to know where they were going. Back in the 1980s at the Navy base I was working at a drunk ran the outer gate. (the Sheriff’s deputy that was chasing him stopped) By the time the drunk got to the inner gate the guards were ready for him. Yes, M-16 fire can disable a Cadillac V-8, verified by actual test... ;-) Though these new barrier systems are very impressive, tremendous stopping power.
I saw these barriers at NAS Pensacola and CBC Gulf Port just last week. They are actually plastic barriers that pivot on a steel post to block the road way. They are shaped like the concrete devices used to temporarily block off lanes during construction.
The Museum of Naval aviation is at Pensacola and the Sea Bee Museum is at Gulf Port. The former is fantastic. The later is not worth the effort
lol
Maybe they had a plane to catch to middle America
Since they don't consider Mexicans to be 'illegals' any more, they must have been of other origin.
Another story says that they were followed by border patrol agents but not being pursued. That sounds like they had a government escort to make sure that they got there.
Looks like a variation of an arrest cable on a carrier.
The story in the Austin paper said they were being followed, but they weren’t being pursued. http://www.statesman.com/news/news/state-regional/texas-digest-six-hurt-in-crash-at-naval-air-statio/nrNLg/
