Clinton: I'd put Bill 'in charge of revitalizing the economy'
The Hill ^ | May 15, 2016 | Jessie Hellmann

Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton is beginning to hint at what role her husband, former President Bill Clinton, could have in her administration if elected president.

At a campaign stop in Fort Mitchell, Ky., Clinton said her husband would be "in charge of revitalizing the economy."

Clinton often boasts about her husbands economic record on the campaign trail, leaning heavily on his record of raising wages and creating jobs.

"The economy does better when you have a Democrat in the White House," Clinton said at the Oct. 13 debate.

Clinton said something similar at a campaign event in early May, saying she would bring him out of retirement to create jobs.

"He's got more ideas a minute than anybody I know," Clinton said. "Gotta put people back to work and make it happen. So we're going to give it all we've got, absolute full-in 100 percent effort, because I worry we won't recognize our country if we don't do this."

Why is she worried about the economy and putting people back to work, in her own words the economy does better with a democrat like obama in the white house?

How can things be so worrisome and crappy with a democrat in the white house the last 8 years?

Translation: “Even though I was the brains behind Bill’s presidency, and I’m the one who deserves the credit, I’ll begrudgingly use him to get to be President, because I deserve to be President. How dare you question me.”

“Clinton often boasts about her husbands economic record on the campaign trail, leaning heavily on his record of raising wages and creating jobs.”

He happened to be president when the Cold War ended and the single greatest technology since the printing press was introduced. The dotcom explosion made him look good. It wasn’t Newt and the GOP, it wasn’t Clinton, and it damn sure wasn’t Algore.
They all glommed on and tried to take credit for it. Then they fled when the tech bubble popped back down to the reality of the industry.

Given his obvious heath problems he won't be much help about anything. She has no clue about economics and would probably put us on a trajectory to be on a par with Venezuela. She is a true disaster in the making.

“”The economy does better when you have a Democrat in the White House, ‘the Contract With America’.””

it was just the beginning of the internet and personal computer era. Nothing else. No politician left or right created the economy of the 90s. Howdy Doody could have been president and it would have been the same.

And it all happened too fast for them to understand it enough to screw it up. Now they are catching up.

How can they possibly say this? This is the worst economy ever, and a Democrat's in charge.

They're just freaking shameless, but most people are so ignorant these days they get away with it.

We’ve been paying for the artificial Clinton bubble-boom for 10 years. The US will never fully recover from that.
