Fury at racist cartoon comparing 'butch' Michelle Obama to pageant-ready Melania Trump

A cartoonist has been accused of racism after he portrayed Michelle Obama as masculine and butch next to a pageant-ready Melania Trump in a controversial drawing.

The cartoon - which has been branded 'racist and misogynistic' - shows a muscular Mrs Obama wearing a green dress with a bulge in the groin area.

Stood next to her is a feminine, smiling Melania Trump in a pink dress and holding a Trump sign.

If you really want to make a graphic like that funny, use real photos side by side instead of a cartoon drawing.

The reactions to the Daily Mail article are very revealing. This is a case of the emperoress wears no clothes. Everyone is told that Michelle is feminine and beautiful and worthy of praise. If they thought otherwise, they were told they were stupid and racist. That is, until a child's voice is heard in the crowd, that Michelle looks frumpy in her new dress. The cartoonist is that child.

Michelle is such a fashion diva. Who could forget her boob belt ? A former coworker of mine, young, pretty, black woman, knockout body, wore a Michelle Obama inspired boob belt dress. You could hear folks guffawing as she walked past. An other wise very attractive woman wearing that atrocious get up. She never wore that to work again.

That hilarious. Even if Michelle wore something decent, she still would look frumpy. The fashion designers hope they would get a fame throwing their best on her. Instead, it comes off like putting their best on a horse and running it down the runway. Yikes!

The “racism” would be if the viewer believes that Michelle Obama has no taste because she is black. This is nonsense. Plenty of black women have excellent taste and look very nice.

It is similar to saying that a man is wearing pants dangling off his backside because he is black, rather than because he is an idiot.

Does anyone recall the first few months of Obama's presidency that clamor about how frumpy Michelle was? Wearing Bermuda shorts, poorly fit pants suits etc. The fashion designers were screaming to let them dress her.
