Democratic Party leaders are upping the pressure on Bernie Sanders to drop his presidential campaign, alarmed that his continued presence is undermining efforts to beat the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald Trump, and again win the White House.

"I don't think they think of the downside of this," said Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., a supporter of front-runner Hillary Clinton and broker of the post-primary peace between Clinton and then-Illinois Sen. Barack Obama in 2008.

Hillary expected that the Dem primary will just be a coronation and now it turns out she has to fight for it. Even a lot of Dems don't like Hillary.

If Hillary is a slam dunk, the Democratic establishment shouldn’t be panicked.

But they are. I don’t think Bernie gives two hoots about what they think.

Does anyone else see the utter hypocrisy in all of this? Sanders is bringing in all the hipster, vegan millennials into the Dems. These voters Googled Hillary and were repulsed at what she did in the 90s. There is no way they’re going to vote for her.

I doubt that even the militant feminists who have hitched their wagon to Hillary actually like her. It’s all about money and power. Hillary’s “beliefs” are flexible, to say the least.

"...she can't make that general-election pivot the way she should," Feinstein said."

Pivot? It's all about the pivot?

Now there's a pathological concept, if ever there was one.

Hey DiFi. If Hillary can’t even beat a sorry Communist loser from Vermont that’s on her. There is a large and growing number of voters in your own party telling you loud and clear they don’t like Hillary. You guys are stuck with her. Try to dump her now she and Bill go nuclear with all the dirty laundry they have on all of you Dems. Stay with her and the party is still headed for defeat. DiFi, you and your fellow Dems had plenty of opportunities since the 1990s to rid yourselves of your Clinton problem, but you let them off the hook time and time again, and now they’re like a couple of cockroaches who will continue to pester all of you.

Duh.

Sanders was supposed to be an easily beaten stalking horse for Hitlary.

Turns out that that she is so unlikeable and the Demscum electorate (especially millenials) are so stupid and brainwashed they want full-blown socialism. So all of a sudden Bernie became a real opponent.

Isn’t it great when the leftscum eat their own?

Hillary has to spend time and money fending off Bernie while she watches Trump have that coronation glidepath to his party’s nomination.

Life’s not fair.

My guess is that the DNC will pull a switcheroo and put in Biden, just as she is about to be indicted. Biden will have missed the primaries and debates, where he would have been doomed every time he opened his mouth. With limited exposure and a very, very friendly press, his idiocy can be masked enough, they think, to get elected. They will tell Hillary and Bernie, about 24 hours before it happens.

She’ll have to take an avowed communist as her running mate to hold the Bernie cattle. Its her only hope.

I don’t think the Democrats will see the downside to Hillary until she goes belly-up.

The problem is the Democrats banked on Jeb.

He would have been easily defeated.

Trump on the other hand, is emerging as a formidable candidate.

His mix of right and left views makes it hard to pigeonhole him.

What to do with an anti-war candidate who says we need to rebuild at home, protect our veterans and fully fund Social Security and Medicare?

How does Hillary respond? Its no longer a dream landslide for the Democrats.
