Yes, his connections with Saudi Arabia need looking into.

He was part and parcel of the operation to supply Syrian rebels with arms from Libya. Suggested at one point that we support al Nusra in order to fight Assad. At one point in the Iraq war he said Israeli “intransigence” in the conflict with the Palestinians was making his job in Iraq much more difficult.

Just remembered with regard to the Saudi connection, which you mentioned - Prince Turki al Faisal said in Wash DC about a week ago that electing Trump would be a monumental mistake - a disaster. So the Saudis are dead set against Trump and Petraeus is in lockstep, as is his custom.
