The phrase “Glutton for punishment” comes to mind.

Cruz is completely destroying any potential he might have ever had. Cruz will NEVER live in the White House. The man has proven himself to be mentally ill. Sad.

Ted can act out the Jim Carrey role with the line:”So you’re saying we have a chance, right?”

Aren’t there any Texans who see that this kind of horse manure makes them all look bad?

“The man has proven himself to be mentally ill.”

I’m not surprised. That’s what Cruz gets for hanging out with fellow weirdo Glenn Beck. They’re both “religious” zealots who think they’re the Savior.

What does it take for Canadians to die of embarrassment? How about displaced Canadians? Ted, do you feel sick yet? You might have wanted to FIGHT for WTP, but at this moment you seem to be fighting yourself and making the two of you look like fools on the hill....fighting. Knock yourself out!

Any way to do a recall election on him? If I lived there, I’d be looking into it for sure at this point.

Federal officers — senators and Congressmen — cannot be recalled. This has been litigated in federal court (Idaho, 1967) and state court (New Jersey, 2013).

More than 60 yrs ago a teacher told me, "Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are."

Ted, ya fell in with the wrong crowd.

Someone needs to explain the meaning of the phrase “I am suspending my campaign”

While I disagreed with him I can in a way understand and admire his tenacity in staying in the race through Indiana. However, this just reeks of bad sportsmanship

Nonsense! You need to get out of the way before the Trump train runs you over.

Apparently he still sees a viable path to the humiliation.

Or maybe he figures, 1% chance Trump runs into some black swan event, just hang around in case things go pear shaped.

Definitely not a Canadian thing, we quit even when we’re ahead. We are just too polite to beat anyone in public.

If I were his wife, I couldn't stand for him to touch me. That's what I think when I see his picture. And I do not see a photo of a male and think about that normally.

I guess I'm not normal.

Damn. I supported Cruz from the beginning and voted for him in the Arizona primaries. Now all I’ve got to say is, “What an ***hole.” I hate sore losers. Cruz is acting like Algore.

I’m not buying. I attended the Texas Republican Convention today and the major theme was uniting the party. Only a few speakers mentioned Trump specifically, but those few mentions were positive.

Ted suspended his campaign, and Texas is uniting behind Trump.

Since Ted Cruz is a native son, it’s a hard pill to swallow, but the people I met and spoke with are ready to swallow it. Ted isn’t going anywhere, he will be president one day. Just not in 2016.

All of our national problems will not be solved by one presidential administration. It took a century to degrade our country to the level it is at now.

We’re ready to let Trump work his economic magic and let Cruz follow him in an election or two to finish the job.
