You’re correct. It is dated to Election Night 2000, indeed. I take extreme exception being labeled a “Red” and speak out against that offense against history and reason every time it rears its ugly head.

Good analysis.

If possible, we could allow the western “blue states” to all merge with California and then “affilate” with their beloved Mexico.

The northern tier could find people they could “boss around” in Canada.

The rest of us who desire to be left to hell alone could merge with Texas and we’d all be happy.

7. We will sell the blue states the necessities that they don’t want to make. The blue states’ elite is more concerned with posturing than productivity. Already, states like New York are banning the fracking technology that could make America energy independent. In California, the pampered coastal elite has declared war on Central Valley farmers. They are closing nuclear and coal plants, outsourcing their energy production. After they secede, it will only get worse – and we free Americans should pick up the slack, eagerly supplying the ravenous blue cities with the food, fuel, and power they won’t dirty their hands creating themselves. Plus, it gives us leverage when the blue states predictably start accusing us of causing their self-inflicted poverty and misery.

However, we will only accept valuable items in trade. Currency metals or finished industrial goods of acceptable quality. Can't pay ? Too bad, so sad. . .

Umm, no not Canada. They wouldn’t like it here.

I’ve dreamed of this for the last 20 years. Do you realize how prosperous and righteous a nation we could be if we could flush the liberal toilets? Imagine America with the heart of America, instead of some tangled mess of neo-socialism and burgeoning fascism! Ah, to dream ...

And if you don’t pay taxes, you don’t vote. It’s that simple. Catch you faking your vote (multiple votes under different names, proxy voting, unqualified, etc.) and you do time and lose the right.

And if you have taken any welfare/SNAP/etc since the last election you don’t get to vote.

And there are government-run hospitals, housing, and food centers. Since the government runs them, the government decides who qualifies. It will be those who literally have no other option, and who are willing to contribute whatever they can in the way of labor. There will be no exemptions for "disability" or other excuses; I've seen a man with no legs climb Mount Everest, so don't tell me about your "bad back." Commit fraud and you lose your benefits for 90 days. Do it again, and it's a year. Third time, you lose them for good. Die on the street for all I care.

The New Constitution strictly prohibits the government from transferring money from one individual to another in the form of taxes or fees. Services, yes. Money (or its equivalent, such as EBT, vouchers, etc.), no. No one in New America will starve, be homeless, or die from lack of medical care. But their food, shelter, and medicine will be the minimum necessary to keep them alive. You want better? Earn it like everyone else.

Repeated violations of the safety net gets you banished. We bus you to the border, give you a $100 bill, and make you someone else's problem.

we free Americans should pick up the slack, eagerly supplying the ravenous blue cities with the food, fuel, and power they won’t dirty their hands creating themselves.

And how are they going to PAY for that? With what? Since they are not productive, where are they going to get the cash/gold or whatever to cover the cost of production?

The author lost me right here: “what with our insistence on believing in God”

Since when do conservatives insist that everyone believe in God?

It would be helpful if a conservative court would revisit the commerce clause rulings.

Might hasten things along by removing one of the supports to the fedgov power grabs.

yes but we have the court due to the Senate make up... the 17th Amendment is the issue...

Least common denominator... root cause

the entire system is now a democracy... no balance between the State Capitals and Washington DC...

Can’t agree with #11. There’s lots of conservatives trapped behind enemy lines.
