“Jim, how can anyone still support this guy?”
He has insinuated almost messianic claims or let those by proxies stand. He and his campaign have embraced false prophecies. There are spiritual factors at work. They are appalling in their import. Some are blindly following this.
Guess “Lying Ted” was lying when he lied about getting out of the race or was that just another lie?
Trump picked the appropriate name for “Lying Ted”, didn’t
he? (NO lying now)
I think we got suckered. Propagandico can be counted on to lie.
In the end...whatever influence Cruz exerts...it will have Zero impact on the outcome of the nomination or whom has the over-riding influence.
That will be the nominee, Donald Trump.
I actually hope Cruz can work to get some good conservative principle ideal to remain firmly in the platform...and most critically, that he and his people can work well with the Trump people to do so.
If that happens...it will be well worth it because working well together to get those types of things done tends to bring people together and let them learn some mutual respect.

I signed up for the texts and the emails. I unsubscribed after a month or two. They utterly turned me off. Every email was devoid of any news. But every email was sent as a result of PRAYER. And every single time, God was asking for more money!
Well, I do not agree.
See my post 84.
There is also a chance that he and his people will actually learn to work with the nominee and his people. That may happen and would be a good thing.
Make no mistake, Trump and his people will have the over-riding influence.
When did we start posting Politico feeds as if it were the gospel and to be taken with an ounce of credibility?
Funny, I didn’t see any cRuzer’s complaining about (numerous) Politico articles posted against or about Trump.
Jarhead, do you know with complete certainty that this article is false? If so, please provide full details.
57% of Texas Republicans said ‘no thanks, Ted’ during the Texas primary.
Cruz did better in Nebraska without campaigning than he did in the tossup states (OH, FL, VA).
Maybe he should have saved all the money.
Ted Cruz is insane.
Agree.
DisgusTED with untrusTED.
He’s a narcissist, if that includes believing that one is the Second Coming of Christ.
cruze will defect to canada before this is over. His wife will likely divorce him in anticipation.
Nonsense. Cruz only cares about himself. He is an opportunist, who played a conservative for a while, because it suited his purposes — he thought that will get him elected.
Now he just wants to keep his name in the lights.
That would be a good thing.
I cannot believe I was stupid enough to support Ted Cruz. I have so gotten over him he is such an asshole
At some point this man is going to need a padded room. Sounds like it might be pretty soon. I understand his being involved in Texas since he is a Texas Senator and he did win Texas...the rest of it is insanity. This on again off again is getting old.
