Hillary Clinton is going to be exonerated on the email controversy. It won’t matter.
The Washington Post ^ | May 6 2016 | By Paul Waldman

The latest news on the Hillary Clinton email controversy reinforces everything we’ve heard so far on this subject:

Prosecutors and FBI agents investigating Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server have so far found scant evidence that the leading Democratic presidential candidate intended to break classification rules, though they are still probing the case aggressively with an eye on interviewing Clinton herself, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

FBI agents on the case have been joined by federal prosecutors from the same office that successfully prosecuted 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui — and who would handle any Edward Snowden case, should he ever return to the country, according to the U.S. officials familiar with the matter. And in recent weeks, prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Virginia and their FBI counterparts have been interviewing top Clinton aides as they seek to bring the case to a close.

That point about her intending to break classification rules is important, because in order to have broken the law, it isn’t enough for Clinton to have had classified information in a place where it was possible for it to be hacked. She would have had to intentionally given classified information to someone without authorization to have it

Only that is 100%

"Intentionally" giving it is not the legal standard- it is GROSS NEGLIGENCE that would allow it to be compromised, intentionally or not.

No surprise. For some time, traitors have been in charge of all three branches of the federal government.

This assertion is categorically false.

This statement (from the article) is a bald-faced lie. The law most definitely NOT require this.

Nothing matters. The republicans want her in the White House. There’s no lawful opposition no legal boundary, as Gore blurted out something he heard in a cabinet meeting while he was in there taste testing their food for poison I suppose

The people, however, are done with her nonsense, though.

I already accept that my current gov’t is corrupt, so I have no expectations she will ever get her due.

It is not a matter of intent - it is a matter of possession and use. By that standard General Petraeus is innocent.

The media has been given their talking point: scant evidence. I guess they haven’t read the law and conveniently forgot that classified information was found on the server.

That’s jail time, baby! Now that the Russians have made public they followed Guccifer trail’s into Hillary’s double secret private server the jig is up.

Hillary is being tried in the court of public opinion and it isn’t looking good for the &%*$.

So I guess if I cause a fatal accident while driving drunk, but I didn’t INTEND to kill anyone, I didn’t commit a crime.

Huh. Who knew?

Many recent articles talk about her “intent”. It seems to be the new Get Out of Jail Free card. But, as you indicate, “intent” does not factor in.

Propaganda media running stories such as this to provide cover. So much is broken in our country, my heart aches for the United States.

“That point about her intending to break classification rules is important”

That is NOT the standard for handling classified information

Those legal jerks think they know the law and they do not

So, Comey said he would not allow any information regarding the investigation until he makes a public announcement. So far he hasn’t announced anything. So this article is just that, one persons personal opinion.
