Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump is annihilating Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in the state of Louisiana, not only with Republicans, but with key groups of Independents and Democrats too, new polling shows.
In a head-to-head match-up against Trump and Clinton, Trump leads with 52 percent compared to Clinton’s 36 percent, according to JMC Analytics and Polling. Four percent said they would support a third party and just eight percent said they were undecided.
Among white Independents in Louisiana, Trump is winning big, with 73 percent to Clinton’s 17 percent. And even with white Democrats, Trump leads Clinton 53 percent to 32 percent.
Clinton’s sole base in Louisiana is with the black community, which she leads Trump with by a 85 percent to 4 percent margin.

If a Republican nominee can’t carry LA, they won’t be competitive nationally. This is a reliable GOP Presidential state since 2000.
No kidding. People are getting excited about the wrong stuff.
So there’s a decent chance the Republicans take Louisiana...
There is just too much credibility thrown into these polls.
Like anything else that was a good barometer it is being overrun and over done too often skewed to favor the agenda of whomever is paying for the poll.
In all the years I have voted, I have been asked TWICE who I voted for...back in the day it was just thought a vote is PRIVATE and none of ‘your’ business who I pulled the lever for.
So any answer would be the opposite of what I actually did.
Polls are like the weather person on TV - he/she can be wrong 360 days of the year but the 5 times he/she is right, he/she is treated like they just discovered a cure for ________.
I can remember arguing with an inspector over the load of asphalt which was being dumped...
I would point to the ticket and say ‘YOUR inspector signed this ticket saying it was topping’, while in reality it was base BUT .........
I would tell myself ...’The paper just lays there and anyone can put whatever they want on it, no guarantees to the correctness’ all the while arguing with someone I knew was correct but I was trying to win by default.

Bill Mitchell tweeted tonight that PPP has a poll out today/Tuesday that will show Crooked Hillary up 4 pts nationally. And the conventions haven’t even taken place yet!!!
Fine-we already got Louisiana.
These are VERY STRONG numbers, considering the high percentage of blacks in Louisiana. It means the following: Either blacks are sick of Hillary, or blacks like Trump...or maybe both.
If Trump was as weak as Rove and Crystal keep claiming, Louisiana would at least be close...but it is not.

Strong? Obama only received 44% in LA last election and 40% in his “historical” election in 2008 vs McCain. These numbers don’t say much.
