I should add, the Cruz supporters who are still here, those who haven't been driven off or left voluntarily.
I didn’t see anyone insult Cruz in this thread. I saw you insult Trump though.
Anyway, Cruz isn’t in this race anymore. No point in expending energy on him.
Also, I have not tossed insults at Trump supporters. But I have seen lots of insults hurled at Cruz supporters.
Most of those that are still here are generally pretty nice, and I appreciate those people.
There’s been a few exceptions though.
But the ones that got banned deserved it, and some of the others who left are basically completely nuts.
And I say that because I have read a number of their posts at the sites they went to. They are carrying a lot of misery and anger, and they seem intent on sharing it.
They need to get a grip, and people shouldn’t have to be subjected to that.

Even Trump supporters have admitted that he doesn’t display a deep knowledge of the issues, and that he has a tendency toward stream-of-consciousness, shoot-from-the-lip long-windedness. That’s pretty much what a bloviator is. But I also said I’ll probably vote for him. Also, I didn’t bring up Cruz. Someone else did.

There was a thread two nights ago in which a Cruz supporter tossing insults at Trump supporters real good.
The person even pinged the boss man to his insulting posts, every one of which got modded, and the boss man told him not to push his luck, but did not zot him.
There are definitely still Cruz people stirring the pot real good, and that is a shame.

You’re welcome. All along I have been careful not to insult Trump supporters, even when expressing my opinion about Trump. But I have not seen the same distinction in the other direction.
There is some truth to that in some respects, but it depends on how you look at it.
Just him saying that we need a wall on the southern border displays a deeper insight on that issue than any other politician or official in this country.
Same with the muslim influx. He is obviously aware of how dangerous it is, while our elected officials seem oblivious or simply do not care.
But then on other matters he could be more studied or prepared. But when I look at others who are more studied and well prepared, they might be able to speak well on the matters, but they don’t do anything. They are just lying or saying whatever they think we want to hear.
Trump’s being an amateur is part of his appeal to me, but it does cut both ways, as it is clear that he is not as practiced as others in this field. It helps and hurts.
As far as someone bringing up Cruz, it was probably me. I don’t recall anyone talking of him before you and I got to talking, so I think it was me.
