Don’t recall the name but was the SoS not a Republican? I think he was and Republicans also had full control of the redistricting process which altered West’s district specifically to get him out of Congress. They did the same thing to Sandy Adams’ district, who got thrown in with a moderate/RINO incumbent and the moderate/RINO won the primary.

This was all by design, by a group of spineless Florida RINOs, the same types who today are very likely proudly waving the “Elect Hillary”, er I mean #NeverTrump banner.

Why West folded so easily, I don’t know.

And the Republicans did not do a damn thing about it. They were glad to get rid of Allen West themselves.

You may be correct. He is a conservative. It may have been by design.

This is who is in charge for Florida this time.

2014, 2012
Detzner was first appointed as Florida Secretary of State in February 2012 by Gov. Rick Scott (R), filling the vacancy left by the departure of former-officeholder Kurt Browning. Detzner was reappointed secretary of state after Scott won re-election as governor in 2014.

2002
Detzner was first appointed Florida Secretary of State by Gov. Jeb Bush (R) in 2002. He served until 2003.

November 13, 2012-

West had won until they “recounted”!!! ha ha ha

Late last night Congressman West maintained a district-wide lead of nearly 2000 votes until the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections “recounted” thousands of early ballots.

Following that “recount” Congressman West trailed by 2,400 votes. In addition, there were numerous other disturbing irregularities reported at polls across St. Lucie County including the doors to polling places being locked when the polls closed, in direct violation of Florida law, thereby preventing the public from witnessing the procedures used to tabulate results.

The St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections office clearly ignored proper rules and procedures, and the scene at the Supervisor’s office last night could only be described as complete chaos.

Please understand, I’m not challenging the very real possibility that West won the election.

I live in Seattle, and in 2004 our relatively Conservative Republican nominee for governor “won” like three recounts and court challenges, and after each victory, new ballots were “discovered” until he actually lost by 133 votes.

My point is that our leadership and rank and file do nothing to stop this 60 year pattern.

After the 2000 Florida debacle between Bush and Gore, the Democrats fought like demons.

Republicans never do that, and never even try to prevent it in the first place.

In fact, the Democrats still claim that Bush cheated in Florida, even though the MSM, led by the relentlessly Left wing Associated Press, recounted EVERY vote in Florida, and declared Bush the winner.

Hoping that KS Secretary of State, Kris Kobach, can get some traction in his efforts to curb and prosecute voter fraud. He's been working with other states, and I really hope he can make some progress.

Utube doesn’t work in my browser, but the 140 percent was debunked right after the election. It was 70%.

Same thing everywhere. Republicans are cheated and they bow in obedience scared to fight. And they do not address the issue for the next time around. They rarely fire an elections supervisor for being incompetent. Little or no action is taken. Republicans are consistently cheated for being stupid.

Notwithstanding the above statement...if Al Gore just won his home state of Tennessee, he would have won the election/Electoral College. The electorate of Tennessee, the people who knew Gore and his family best, rejected his candidacy.
